Finally, NBC has a new saturday morning lineup with actual animation (ended in the early 90's with TNBC featuring Saturday Night Live). It is called Qubo. Qubo is a result of a collaboration of NBC Universal, Scholastic, Corus Entertainment, and Classic Media/Big Idea (responsible for VeggieTables). Unlike 4Kids (on Fox and other affiliates, in Miami its on My TV) and Kids WB (now extinct), there actually a well-rounded round of animated series. They are all actually good. It started on Saturday September 9th 10am-1pm. It also airs in Spanish on Telemundo Saturday and Sunday Mornings. Most of the cartoons are from Canada or from Big Idea.
Tambien Qubo sale en Telemundo los Sabados y Domingos 8am-9:30am, es una colaboracion de NBC Universal, Scholastic, Corus y Classic Media/Big Idea.

The first book in the series has twice been filmed, in 1978 and in 1999; the latter film starring Gary Busey. Also from Canada.
