Deadpool 2 Mutants Roll Call

While there was just three well-known mutants highlighted in Deadpool, it looks like FOX upped the anty with ore mutants. Not only X-Men this time but what looks like X-Force. Deadpool is determined to save a boy Russell from time-traveling Cable gets in the way. Everyone already knows Cable, son of Scott Summers from the comics so here are some more...

Domino

Domino (Zazie Beetz) has the power to change probability. It seems like a strange power at first but it's proven useful to Domino in combat, giving her unparalleled marksman abilities (She never misses) and helps her get out of most situations unharmed. In the comics, Domino is the result of a government breeding program like several others in the X-Men universe. After escaping the program, Domino became a mercenary, working with a group called Six Pack, until she eventually joins the X-Force. Deadpool 2 has changed her ethnicity, hence changing her well known eye makeup. 

Bedlam

Bedlam (Terry Crews--Brooklyn Nine-Nine) has bioelectric abilities that allow him to disrupt and affect electrical systems. He's also trained in hand-to-hand combat. Jesse Bedlam is one half of the X-Men comic's Bedlam brothers. After being orphaned, Jesse is separated from his brother Christopher, placed in a psychiatric hospital, and tortured. He is eventually rescued by Professor X and placed on a mutant task force called M.U.S.E. Later, Bedlam teams up with Domino to track down his brother, then joins Christopher's mutant team New Hellions, and finally switches to join the X-Force to stop Christopher from reviving Armageddon Man.

Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Yoiki/Surge (?)

The Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) we see in the first Deadpool movie is different than the one seen in the comics. In the movie, Negasonic works with Colossus, using her explosive powers to help Deadpool rescue Vanessa. In the comic books, Negasonic Teenage Warhead has telepathic powers and dies a lot. Negasonic can bee seen wearing X-Men gear in the trailer for the sequel. She is also seen accompanied by a pink hair mutant by the name of Yoiki (Shioli Kutsuna). It is said she is her girlfriend. She electrifies her metal chain in the trailer. Some sources say she is based on Surge, an obscure Japanese X-Men who manifests electricity-based powers.

Shatterstar

Shatterstar (Lewis Tan) has superhuman strength, speed, agility, durability, healing, and more. He can also generate bioelectric shocks, which channels into objects, most often a sword he carries. This ability makes Shatterstar an especially powerful fighter. Shatterstar is a mutant created by bio-engineering in another dimension called Mojoworld, where he is an enslaved fighter. After escaping, Shatterstar tasks himself with defeating Mojo V, the ruler of Mojoworld. In his quest, he meets Cable and joins the X-Force after he is assured that the team will help him defeat Mojo.

Zeitgeist

Zeitgeist (Bill Skarsgard--Pennywise from It and brother of Alexander Skarsgard) has the power to spit acidic vomit from his mouth, which can burn through any substance in the world. In the comics, Zeitgeist is a leader in the X-Force team. After becoming dissatisfied with the team, he plans a mission that will kill most of the members of the X-Force but it goes awry and Zeitgeist is eventually killed himself.

Russell/Firefist (?)

Footage showed that Russell (Julian Dennison) has pyrokinetic abilities, meaning he can control and create fire out of his hands. Some fans believe this kid could be Russell “Rusty” Collins, the mutant also known as Firefist. Other mutants were guessed to be but ultimately Firefist seems to be the closet character.

Claire's same sex realtionship on Heroes

Claire's lesbian kiss was all the rage in the media, but what about how it is being treated. Actually Heroes is treating the relationship pretty well, it is a relationship. They have said so. Gretchen starts out as a creepy character but appearances are deceiving, she is a pretty awesome and sweet character. It is not even a lark, just a kiss. They really care about each other. Claire finds love, she finds someone who adores her and knows who she is, her secret. It is actually sweet. Even her dad knows but they don't mention the word 'gay' or 'experimenting,' just relationship. He even invites Gretchen to Thanksgiving when Claire is down. I love the scene a few weeks ago where Claire assumes Grecthen 'has herself figured out' just because she came out and Gretchen clarifies it. Also mentioning that she has dated more men than women. And it's not even like Willow + Tara in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" where Willow discovered she was a lesbian in college. Claire is not going to up and 'come out,' it's private---it was private for Willow and Tara at first too, but I don't think the producers will leave Claire to only be attracted to men, she may just be bisexual, more interesting. Since her highschool friend Zach [Thomas dekker] was bisexual but NBC didn't approve of it and it wasn't officially mentioned on the show.

Heroes Season Three - Villains

As many fans already know 'chapter 3' Villains of "Heroes" was going to be in Season 2, but because of the Writer's strike, it has been pushed into Season 3, which will have more than the normal amount of episodes. Now, 'Villains' isn't going to be as simple as it sounds, it will delve into the villain-side of everyone. Especially the highly-publicized dark side of Claire (Hayden Panettiere). Now, one new character has been revealed---a rival for Hiro. Her name is Daphne, or rather, "The Speedster." Her power is super speed, sounds done but listen to this: When Hiro stops time, Daphne slows to regular speed. I rarely gush at actresses... Brea Grant, who played Jean [a sassy brainy rocker who like Landry (Jesse Plemons)] on "Friday Nights Lights." I think this is brilliant casting, Hiro needs a rival that can ruffle his feathers.

Heroes was actually good tonight

As predicted, this week's episode "4 months later" kicked ass. Even Executive Producer Tim Kring has admitted Season 2 has not be up to par... to Entertainment Weekly, saying Hiro shouldn't have been in Japan for so long. He said that since last year built up, they thought viewers would like the same this year. But he already got us used to the long-spiraling high-octane episodes. Kring says Peter should have found out about the virus in the first episode. This episode should have been the season premiere. We learn more about Elle and maybe I can start liking her. Also, we found out Takezo Kensei (David Anders from "Alias"... TV's answer to Paul Bettany) is still alive and now going by the name of Adam Monroe, whose blood has healing abilities and is basically immortal. Now that Hiro has returned, he wants to reverse what happened to his father. like an idiot. It is so predictable. Dumb poor Hiro.

Heroes Season Two: Got better?

Critics and fans have been complaining about season 2 of "Heroes." How it has been slow building and storylines that have seemed to go nowhere like Hiro in Japan's past and Clare's nowhere high school stories. People have also not enjoyed the 'wonder twins,' who have gone through Latin America that looks more like the backlot of Oakland, California. Gay fans, including me, have enjoyed Milo Ventimiglia shirtless. Since last week, things have been picking up with Matt's evil father and the 'Company' effecting everyone from Nikki to Nathan to Mohinder. Also, Clare's boyfriend West has finally figured out her daddy is the one who abducted him. What I don't like is this virus, it seems too much Twelve Monkeys and an excuse for an apocalypse to get everyone together. Last night, Peter left his new girlfriend in the future. If the future changes, where exactly will she be? Next week, they reveal what happened between the season one finale and the season two premiere. Let's see where that leads. As for the new characters, I like the twins and don't like much Kristen Bell's character nor D.L.'s cousin, they sort of fall flat.

Heroes: Origins - Building on Mythology and cool Spin-Off idea

Everyone has been asking me if I've seen "Heroes" and my answer is more or less yes. I've seen a number of episodes but I haven't seen all of them. When I first heard it was coming out last July, I felt like it had been done and it would never be a hit. Mainly because I think I had an overload of regular people having superpowers and it being compared to average life and having a big crisis like "4400", X-Men, etc. But it pretty much surprised everybody, having not two but three or four catchphrases (the cheerleader one, Yata!, and 'Are you on the list?') and making Milo Ventimiglia slightly likable (didn't have much fans with 'Gilmore Girls' or that god awful WB series 'Bedford Diaries').

Now its spin-off "Heroes: Origins" is a pretty cool idea for a spin-off. During "Heroes" hiatus (curing the period where there is no new episodes), there will be 30 or so episodes--each one focusing on a new character and fans will vote online on which one should be on the 'mother' show. They say they still haven't fully put the schedule in stone but definitely it won't be 'peppered' throughout the season so it will confuse the audience. I hope not. But it definitely saved NBC. 'Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip', weep.

Yay! Shousan Suru to Hiro!

Sure calling the Japanese character Hiro (Masi Oka) on NBC's "Heroes" was a bit on the tongue-in-cheek side but kudos to the publicity team that has Masi on the all the talk shows, magazine covers and has become the breakout star of the show overshadowing his Caucasian co-stars. I applaud positive Asian characters, especially a Japanese character. On top of that, showing the American public a less-stereotypical depiction of the Japanese. Also big ups to James Kyson Lee who plays Hiro's buddy Ando Masahashi for also shining next to such an eccentric character.

Santiago Cabrera Eye Candy

Santiago Cabrera, Isaac Mendez from "Heroes," was born to a Chilean diplomat in Caracas, Venezuela. He is the artist that paints events that may occur.

Cabrera grew up all over the world, spending most of his childhood in London, Romania, and Madrid. Although he grew up in such historic cities, he still considers his namesake of Santiago, Chile to be his true home.

He is really good at soccer and was planning to become a soccer player. He will be in the next two Kuno Becker Goal! movies: Goal! 2: Living the Dream and Goal! 3. He played Octavis in the mini-series 'Empire'.
