Lost Series Finale Feelings

I cried when Claire gave birth and touched Charlie and they remembered. What didn't make sense was that Aaron and Sun's baby was in this alternate world and in the church.

Alison Janey guest starred tonight on "Lost" and she was a welcomed guest. She did a terrific job. She only appeared in flashbacks. But she is now part of the mythology of Lost and the Island. Okay, here is the spoiler--she plays the mother of Jacob and the boy in black, well, not the real mother, the adoptive mother. A pregnant woman comes to the island and has the two twins and was killed by Alison Janey's unnamed character. She, of course, lies to the children. Telling them there is no one across the sea. The majority of the episode was about them, Jacob and the Man in Balck, who remains unnamed, and obviously, they are twin brothers. As soon as I saw the pregnant woman, I knew she was Jacob's mother. When I saw the twins, I realized it was them.

Lost Final Season Premiere

I won't explain the whole episode, but this to just give those wondering if the bomb caused them to go back in time, to where they never got on the island.

So yes, I still watch "Lost," it has gone from a huge hit to a cult show. The season premiere begins with the white from the bomb from last season, the longest white wash in. The first image we see are clouds from a airplane window. We treated to the old scene of Jack and Rose (the nice black lady from the first season) in Oceanic 815. There is a shake but no airplane drop. Rose is reunited with her husband. Jack goes tot he bathroom and notes blood on his neck. He meets Desmond, it turns out Desmond is now on the flight. Jack gets deja vu. We then five into deep into the oceans, to find a giant foot with four toes in the water, instead of above.

Kate wakes up on a tree. She finds Jack, James and Miles, they are where Sun and the others are, on the Island, I forget the year, but its around our current time. James is real pissed about Juliet dying in vain. Sayid, Hurley and Jin are two minutes away, near a van.

And we are also served to Jack being in a place where the plane never crashed and having deja vu with people who have never met him. So Kate is arrested again, back with the agent; James is bad old Sawyer, back from killing a man he thought was the one who led to his parents' death; Hurley being bugged by a fan--because he is owner of fast food chain and he is a lucky guy, nothing bad happens to him.

So yeah, no more spoilers. But it's a pretty good episode.

Lost Season Four Finale Review

SPOILERS ABOUND

I reviewed the season 4 opening episode, appropriate enough I cover the finale, correct? Last season's season finale started the flash forwards with an unspecified time in which Jack was a wreck and tried to convince Kate to come back. Also, there was an unidentified body in a coffin that Jack visits. In the opener, we are taken to Hurley's life off the island and starting to focus on the "Oceanic Six." We were introduced to the Freighter (Kahana) and the 'Freighter people' (Daniel, Charlotte, Miles, Frank and Naomi) last season and this season. Many people believe this season was going to be about the freighter people, but it was more about the Oceanic Six. I believe this season was about the Oceanic Six. The producers had said that because of the Writer's Strike, they had to tone down on the Freighter people and people wouldn't find out more about them. They seemed interesting, especially Miles, but i don't really care. I think fans care about the Oceanic Six: Jack, Kate, Sayid, Sun, Hurley, and Aaron.

I am not going to try to breakdown the time line and breakdown of events, but to me, it makes sense. Somehow I am able to separate everything in my mind and everything fits together. I don't care if things are revealed or mentioned, I have got a hang of it. People have complained about season 2 and 3, but I think everything has a purpose. I think it has gotten clearer and we can see the bigger picture now. It is like one producer said, we began with one cookie crumb and now we see there is a bigger cookie. As for the flashbacks, this season we had a mix of everything. Flash forwards, flashbacks, mixed-character time jumps and the patented Desmond time-travel sagas.

In Season 2 we were introduced to Desmond and Penny and little by little, we would get closer and closer to reuniting them. In the amidst of everything happening in this episode and all the threads being tied and coming to a close, Desmond and Penny finally reunited and I was literally shaking and having goosebumps. It was destined. And i loved it when Desmond introduced Penny to his friends. it was awesome. What is so great about the show is that all these characters are connected but someone miss each other. For example and this is very spoiler-y, Ben's daughter (who he stole and wasn't his biological daughter) was killed by Mr. Widmore's men and he vowed to kill Mr. Widmore's daughter and that is Penny. Ben moved the island before Desmond's eyes and later he reunited with Penny, funny enough just a few hours and miles apart.

What I also love is how character evolve. We are given a scene years after they left the island and Sun actually meets up with Widmore. She also blames him for the death of a love one. Jin supposedly died on the Kahana and she gave birth to her daughter. She blamed her father as well and took over his company with the money Oceanic gave them. She then is cold and strong in her confrontation with Widmore. Great scene. As for the unidentified body in the coffin, it was revealed at the very end of the episode. I knew locke was gonna be the dead body in the coffin. Who else would have no one at his funeral? Now, many people might be scratching their heads and wondering why but I think it makes sense. When signs pointed to happiness for Locke, taking over the island... and his life was never fair. Wonder if his island after-life will be any better.

Lost Season Opener Review

I thought I gave up but surprise surprise, an actual good episode from "Lost." Smartly, they focus on Hurley, the heart of the show. Wonderful wonderful stuff. I still don't have high hopes for the season but let's see.

Funny enough, there was two Terminator-like lines. "Come with me if you want to live."

Congrats to him. He won for Best Supporting Actor for Drama.

Lost Season Three Steals my Heart

Ratings are going down for 'Lost' but I don't care, I am still watching it. Even though it is a slow moving, I like season three very much. It is a creature of its own. I think the reason people have the most trouble with it is that it abandoned what was familiar. I think season three is multi-layered and has its purpose. The problem was the abrupt stop in the middle, have clumps of new episodes. Many forget that season 2 was slow moving too and steep in mythology. Most flashbacks in season 2 led nowhere. (At least we were able to deduce Clare was Jack's sister) I do admit that once you forget about the multitude of questions, it is more enjoyable. The most captivating character is Juliet. Just when you start to like her, you hate her more when you find out more stuff. Even though she is smart, warm... the actress is so great at being nice but also evil, pull you in so you care about her and concealing things. The character, much like any in 'Lost' isn't how she first appears. Juliet's motives are ambiguous at best and keeps you wondering. I think what people don't like the most of season 3 is that the net group was split.

But what people don't like most is Nicky and Paolo. Creators admitted they had more planned for the characters--more playing with our heads (Have us think Nicky really is a stripper in the flashbacks but it was actually the show she was on) but of such panning, they decided to kill them off in one fell swoop. I like the 'Others.' I wanted to know more about them. And I think it was pretty needed and their existence is more mysterious and makes your mind go a tingle. I don't think the show has weakened at all, all that has is our patience. So kudos to finishing off Paolo and Nicky---I don't think we have seen the last of them. Who has been missing in action is that multi-racial couple I forget their name.

Lost/Family Guy Subconscious Joke?

Could there be a subconscious inside joke with calling a newscaster in a flashback Tricia Tanaka in Hurley's episode on 'Lost'. She is Asian and sounds suspiciously like Tricia Takanawa, newscaster from 'Family Guy.'

Great Performances: Nathan Fillion on Lost and Alanis on Nip/Tuck

Well this is a week later but kudos to Nip/Tuck casting by having Alanis Morrisette planning Liz's new girlfriend Poppy. While her first television role was in Nickelodeon's "Don't do that Television" but ashe has done some guest roles such as God twice, in Sex and the City, Degrassi: The Next Generation, and American Dreams. She had another side, she was all sweet with Liz and then a potty mouth about Liz's weight when she was under.

On Lost, kudos to the producers by hiring Firefly's Nathan Fillion. He played Kevin, Kate's fiancee/husband in a flashback. He is so hot and thank you for having him shirtless. Also, for him weaing a Miami Heat T-Shirt on and being drugged.

Lost "Tailies" Spoiler

Well now all the Tailies have been done in, maybe except for Rose's husband. It was a good ep and a real wrap-up on the now deceased character. That smokey can real pack a punch.

Lost: Paulo is a passenger we never knew?

So with all the Tailies, 'Others', Desmond, the crazy French lady and her supposed daughter... Rodrigo Santoro is apparently a passenger of the doomed plane that we just never saw? Also, a girl who knew Hurley. Locke and the gang knew who Paulo and the girl were. Well, I hope the producers shed more light on him. His name and accent suggested he is Brazilian just like the actor.

Paging Abrams: Where is Rodrigo Santoro??

Dear Damon Lindelof and J.J. Abrams, where the hell is Rodrigo Santoro? He's on the credit list as a main cast member yet he was absent in the second episode of the third season! As much as I love a batter and sweaty Josh Holloway, I want me some Brazillian man meat.

Lost's Josh Randall's DoppelgÃnger?

We all know that IMDB is always full of false information but sometimes it might find something accurate. Case in point, while looking at the profile of Josh Randall ( Nathan in Lost who tallie Ana Lucia thought was an 'Other', was on Dr. Mike on Ed and Elliot's stalwart boyfriend Jake with a strange unnameable fetish on Scrubs) they claim that resembles mostly independent film actor David Sullivan.

He has recently been on Big Love and Joey. I kinda see the resemblance but not that much. They say in their face gestures and voice. Well I got to hear blondie's voice.

Anyhoo Josh Randall is a super great actor and damn handsome.

Rodrigo Santoro to join 'Lost'

This may have bee announced on the net a few days ago but the first time I hear this but to addition to a new love interest to Jack, flashbacks for 'The Others' and more females, 31-year old Brazilian actor Rodrigo Santoro has been announced as a still unrevealed name character. Bald and supposedly straight Damon Lindelof says he will be as shirtless as Sawyer (Josh Holloway) and may be another love quad piece in the long-standing Jack-Sawyer-Kate sandwhich.

Santoro was in the Charlies' Angels 2: Full Throttle with no lines. He crossdressed in the reallife events-based Carandiru.

He will play Xeres in the most anticipated 300 based on the work of Frank Miller.

Good choice, Lost producers!
