The Office "Garage Sale"

At first glance at this episode, I thought it would be stupid and thought it was a repeat. But I quickly realized it was a new episode and set in the warehouse where the gang is having a garage sale. Holly and Michael have a talk that might lead to marriage. She calls her mother and asks if Michael called and yes, he spoke to her father, but it seems her father has Alzheimer's. Pam catches Michael trying to light the parking lot on fire---he's bad idea to put gasoline in the name of "Will You marry Me" and light it up. So Pam convinces him it is a bad idea. Later, Holly explains that she has to go back home to take care of her father. Michael stops her from proposing to him and we are surprised by a touching proposal inside the office, which has hundreds of candles, but makes the water go off on top of Holly and Michael. Michael surprises the others by saying they are going to move. They are all shocked. I would say woo-hoo! Finally, bye-bye! This was Holly's last episode, so most likely she is moving first. I like these turns of events.

Next week Will Ferrell comes in, Michael got him to be the manager but they figure out it is not that great.

The Office - the Search - the best of the 7th season

Season Seven has been luckluster, kind of bitter and not really funny, only some interesting developments. Everyone is hoping Holly and Michael will get together. Holly has returned but she still had a boyfriend and Michael was impatient at them being together. Holly broke up with her boyfriend after an ultimatum. Now that she is single, she tells Michael she just can't be in a relationship with someone from work again. He is so sure it is a certainty. In this episode Michael and Jim go to someone important but Michael stops at a gas station to pee. Pam's mom locks Ceecee in a car on the way to the doctor and Jim leaves Michael alone without a cell or wallet. So Dwight, Holly and Erin go on a search for Michael. I love Erin and I love that included Erin. Dwight is just a cartoon character now, with no humanity. Michael tells the cameras to go away, but I don't know why the cameras didn't explain to them where Jim went.

Holly doesn't want to admit they are soulmates. The trio don't know where to go but Holly suggests the bakery, just for the smell of it. They then end up at a store and Holly writes a fake name for a cell phone company, which Michael also did and Dwight and Erin recognizes his fake name. They are then sure she is the key. Holly is hypnotized about an ad about a giant eggroll, which Michael is at the restaurant. Then in the restaurant, they find out Michael skipped out on a check and wrote 'Thief.' Holly doesn't want to admit she is the key and wants to head on the top of a building to see Michael, from the city. Erin follows her. When she is there, she ends up finding Michael, who wanted to see if he could see the DM office. The B-story is funny and entertaining about Pam having a caption contest for the other workers.

What a delightful episode, a wonderful episode. A diamond in the rough. Worth the watch.

Michael leaving The Office is A-Okay with Me

I haven't mention this and it has been a while, but I think it is a good thing that Steve Carrell is leaving the Office because Michael Scott as a character is played out. I hate how more petty he has gotten, he never learned his lessons, as long as he leaves with Holly, his story line can be completed. As for the show loosing its flair after he leaves, I think it is fine, because it is not like "That 70's Show" when Eric left or "Happy Days" when that dude left. This show is different, Jim and Pam are the heart.

The Office - I love how Oscar wants to hook up

On the latest "The Office," I love how Oscar wants to hook up with one of the warehouse guys, Matt. It is funny. Good. So Oscar orchestrates a Happy Hour get-together to get to know Matt. So the whole office comes down. He asks Darryl to set it up, Darryl tells him 'to be gay with Matt, but straight with him.' Pam tried to set them up in the X-Mas party when she found out Matt was gay.

The Office - Pam and Jim Wedding Review

The Office Season Five Finale

I loved this episode "Company Picnic," it was funny and irreverent. Michael and his soul mate Holly meet again and do a skit that seemed un-funny at first which was a mix of Slumdog Millionaire and Dunder-Mifflin. Michael reveals a branch is closing, which I believe he does out of spite from being fired, then being rivals with the company and then re-hired. Holly and Michael don't talk about their relationship and don't get back together and Michael makes a touchingly sweet and very mature speech on how they will get back together one day. I loved the scenes with Phylis and also the relationship between Dwight and Jim. At the end, it is implied that Pam is pregnant. There is a rumor that the hospital scenes were filmed using the set from Scrubs, an ABC series which recently wrapped its final season. Many may think it is cliched but I personally think it will bring more conflict. Pam just started a job as a salesperson and she is not married yet, and now she is pregnant? She will get lots of flack out of the Office gang and she is planning a wedding, so the stress may get to her. So I see a very interesting arc for Jim and Pam for season six, when fans were complaining that season five didn't give them enough of an exciting plot. I barely ever think about the Office's ficitional lives but now I am wondering if Jim and Pam are going to change Jim's parents' old room into a nursery.

The Office Season 4 Finale Review

Totally awesome episode. It was just plain great. It was the last day of Toby, so Michael of course wants to throw a big party. Angela and Phyllis bump heads over party planning. Jim plans to propose to Pam. Toby introduces everyone to his replacement Holly (Amy Ryan), who Michael wants to hate but then falls in love with. Dwight 'hazes' Holly telling her that Kevin is a 'special' worker and it is just hilarious because every thing he says can be construed as being that way. Lots of surprises are abound such as Kevin revealing to Michael that Jan is pregnant.

I loved the inclusion of many of the characters like Meredith in helping Dwight with the raccoon in Holly's car (the reason they join together is in the deleted scenes) and taking the picture of Toby and Pam. I love Holly, she is awesome. When Jim was about to propose to Pam, I saw Andy (Ed Helms) and I figured he didn't get naything and weas quiet. To me, he looked like one of those muppets in a muppet special that used get to take and didn't take. So when he stole the thunder of Jim, it was hilarious and a shock. I liked Michael's joke about Andy proposing to Oscar as well. The biggest nugget of dessert was Phyllis walking into the office to find Angela and Dwight having sex.

Look out for awesome deleted scenes here.

Andy Bernard is a for sure for The Office Spin-Off

A Spin-off of the American "The Office" is all the rage now. Some fans, including buddytv, that a spin-off would be a terrible idea at a first glance. the premise and name have not been announced but there is a tentative premiere date of after the 2009 Super Bowl. Now, as NYE says.. Andy Bernard would be the most likely character to be spun-off. Andy is easily removable from the first show, but can survive on a new show. His character was designed as a scene stealer and Ed Helms is just great as him. NYE is correct, Andy is much like Michael, that the spin-off can have a similar dynamic. An insider says it is most likely Ed Helms. I don't know if i am looking forward to it. For example, I like "Grey's Anatomy" and was looking forward the spin-off but "Private Promise" was a big disappointment. I would had rather a "Desperate Housewives" spin-off.

Best Award show opening ever

I have seen a lot of award show openings where the host 'drops' in movies or shows in the Oscars, Emmys, and MTV Movie Awards. The MTV Movie Awards are pretty bad, they always feel forced and akward. Well, this one's host Conan O' Brien first is in an airplane and drops on the Lost island and interacts with Hurley. He goes into a hatch and drops into The Office and interacts with the entire cast. They even homage the show where Conan flirts with Pam. It was really funny. It was 'office' akward, not 'MTV Movie awards' akward. Then he ends up in 24 and not only one FOX show but two!.... He is diagonised and insulted by Dr. House. Surprise me that he didn't end up in My Name is Earl, that would be fun.

The biggest shock and the biggest laughs from the audience, he ends up animated in South Park and locks himself in Stan Marsh's closet. He pops out when his father comes around and Tom Cruise comes out as well. Lastly, he ends up in a house with Dateline, how to find a predator or something. I guess he made up with the South Park crew (who I skewered in the last post) since their movie which they had him commit suicide.

Eh??! That sorta hot guy from Charmed is go-to nerd guy?

Charmed was prety good at picking out hot guys and I re-watched one of my favorite episodes where a wizard's creation escapes and takes over Piper. Now I noticed that the wizard is actually go-to-nerd guy Rainn Wilson from NBC's Office and the upcoming My Ex-Super Girlfriend. His name Rainn sounds like he is from the Phoenix family.

He looked pretty good in Charmed but it seems those glasses are permanant.

NBC/You Tube: If the same could have been done with Napster

NBC was upset at YouTube that the Saturday Night Live rap-video skit "Lazy Sunday" (the one that comically rhymed the title: The Chronicles of Narnia) was posted and demanded them to take it off. (It had 5 Million viewings) Now, they have become buddies. The monster has now sold out! The opposite! Sweet! Now, they teamed up and buying advertising on YouTube and even have a contest for The Office fans to make their own promo by using clips from the show (which fans love doing)! Awesome man. Now if the goverment and those artists would had been able to have a big heart with Napster like NBC does.
