Every Witch Way Season 2 Week 3 Review

UPDATED 7/26/14 2 PM EST
I am summarizing and reviewing the second season of "Every Witch Way" by weeks. "Every Witch Way" has aired for the month of July and first week of August at 7:30 PM EST, the last episode airs August 8th.

"Outta Hand"
Picking up from the last episode "No sleep Sleepover", Ursula wraps Emma like a present and makes Sophie into a tinkertoy to not tell Maddie she has her powers. Maddie finds out Ursula has her powers. At Emma's house, Emma shows she can do magic without audibly speaking, Daniel comes in and Andi covers Emma's spell. Back at Maddie's, Ursula tries to make excuses for what she did and Maddie calls her a dangerous witch. They need a conduit to transfer powers. Back at school, Jax berates Emma for using her powers through impulses. Fool Moon will take two more weeks. Jax wants to cut school. Daniel tells Emma he has to do 'Romeo and Juliet." Andi texts Emma and she leaves Jax, saying if she wants her to go with them--which Jax isn't happy about. Diego and Maddie are in lunch line talking about Ursula having powers. Diego says the principal wanted to use him as a conduit causing him to die. At the clinic, Andi can't go because she has a French presentation. Jax and Emma agree to meet at the pool, Gigi listens in.

At the school audition, Sophie & Francisco hold the auditions and the are all bad except for Sophie & Daniel (who ultimately get the parts). At the beach, Emma asks Jax to show her the problem. He makes a food appear and throws cake at her. He says that she isn't having enough fun with her powers. They have a food fight. Maddie leaves and Katie & Sophie corner him to talk to him. Katie wants him to be the conduit and lies that they found a way to protect him using a old book at Maddie's. Daniel find it strange that Emma is not in class but Jax is in class though. Jax and Emma continue their food fight. They run back to school, Emma is called to the Principal's office. Gigi says hi to two Jaxes in the hallway. Emma's dad berates her for cutting classes. Emma is shocked that it is only her. She complains to Daniel about having detention and he gets in trouble on purpose to be in detention to be with Emma. Andi & a crying Maddie bump into each other. Maddie enters the Janitor's closet, Andi follows her. She confesses that its been without powers is bad and she can't trust her friends or mom.

Diego hears this. Andi tells her that she is head of the panthers, Maddie, even though she doesn't feel the same, everyone sees her as the same old Maddie. Andi encourages her, she cheers up, both make a deal not to tell anyone about it. At detention, Emma is present and Francisco is mad. Daniel is late and sits next to Emma. Later, Diego brings Katie and Sophie to Maddie's. At 7, Emma and Jax bump into each other (Jax works there now?) and Jax offers to show her a new spell, which she says no and is mad. She goes to meet Daniel who is practicing lines. She makes a spell and wears a hat and she hears Daniel's voice. Gigi sees Emma. Katie and Sophie wrap Diego in plastic to be the conduit. Ursula agrees. At Emma's house, Emma cuts up the hat she made, saying its cheating. Jax comes in, saying he was going to show her how he was able to not get caught. He makes a magical double.

Emma thought Andi would be mad, she's not but only mad at being left with a fake. Jax refused Emma again for the reversal spell, Hex is mad at Emma so she can't get it. Andi says Emma is responsible for everything the clones do. B.E. told Daniel she can babysit the T3 and she has to make dinner. H.E. offers to babysit. B.E. is out with Daniel at the 7. Desdemona comes in and butters up the two. She says they can learn from Romeo and Juliet.

B.E. says she thinks Juliet is lame, saying to sneak out and go to a club and not wait for Romeo, which freaks out Daniel. H.E. finds mud on the T3 and says they are expressing their true selves. They have fun with popcorn. Daniel and Sophie practice the play and Desdemona recommends fighting and then a happy ending. Apparently she hasn't read the whole play and finds out that both die. Hippie Emma arrives to Original Emma, H.E. abandoned T3. O.E. finds a mess in T3's room, she sends them to bathe and cleans the room with magic when Daniel arrives. Maddie bumps into B.E. in 7. She can't make her spells work all the day. B.E. makes fun of her by making her do an ugly face and jump on one foot and makes a real spell for her. Gigi catches this. O.E. is cooking when B.E. comes in. Andi comes in with Hex. The other Emmas are gathered. Bad and Original Emma claim to be the real one and Andi finds out which one is which with a trick. B.E. tries to rally the other Emmas, they aren't for it. B.E. tells Daniel that deep down he had to know. Daniel is mad that she lied to him. B.E. says there are five Emmas. Daniel breaks up with them, which makes B.E. mad and N.E. grab on his leg. B.E. calls Daniel boring and at least they get to keep powers. B.E. wants to get rid of O.E., Andi and O.E. open up Hex and reads a spell. O.E. gets rid of N.E., H.E., and L.E. Bad Emma fights back and the two cancel out and Original Emma faints. Andi picks and Emma up and Emma says she is herself. Emma is upset that Daniel broke up with her. Meanwhile, Emma spots Daniel but he avoids her. Jax tries kissing her. Jax calls Bad Emma as 'E.' He asks to bring her back. Emma says she knows they were planning to get rid of her. Jax says B.E. is fun and knows there is a little bit of her in her and she magically sticks her into a locker. (I guess there is still some of her in there). Sophie comforts Daniel at the stage. Desdemona yells at them and is upset to find out he broke up with Daniel. Emma goes to the bathroom and bumps into Maddie, Maddie mad at her for what B.E. did. Emma apologizes, she offers to help. Emma and Maddie hold hands and she turns a bench into a bunny. Maddie is about to make Emma into something but Emma runs away. Gigi was hiding in a stall and makes a 'breaking news report' about witches.

Emma corners Daniel, he clarifies that he was happy that Emma wasn't lying to her, saying that all Maddie did was lie to him. Danny says it was all a lie and he leaves her. Back at Emma's house, Emma hears Danny's voice saying 'it's over.' She is about to make a love spell on candy and Lily arrives. At Daniel's house, he can't think of anything else but Emma. T3 come in and they comfort him like Anti-Emma stuff like a dart board, punching bag, etc. He declines. Lily asks Emma what she was going to do and she tells the truth. Emma tells her about the break up, Lily is happy, she says she can work on controlling her power. Lily says there is irregular power activity. Lily says she can be trusted, she didn't tell the council about erasing Daniel's memory. Emma tells her about the clones, Lily says the council will take her powers. Back at 7, Diego and Maddie practice her powers. Diego makes Maddie rain into snow. Sophie and Katie are jealous of Diego, they want to break them up. In the Janitor's closet, Gigi is recording a video and about to show a video, Desdemona cancels this and tells her not to reveal the magic realm. Gigi gets a mop to defend herself. Desdemona says she won't hurt her but recruit her, to be her minion. Gigi says no. Gigi escapes her.

Special Guests: Desdemona, Daniel's Mom, Ursula
Not present in the episode: Francisco, Agamemnon

"The Breakup"
Gigi escapes Desdemona, she teleports and shows up everywhere Gigi runs and makes her her minion. Gigi still wants to report it as Miss Information, Desdemona makes it a spell again but can't stop her personality. Desdemona wants info on Daniel. Gigi says it has been a week since Daniel and Emma broke up. At Emma's house, Andi goes to Emma and she is under her bedsheet and doesn't want to say what is bothering her. Andi takes off the sheet, Emma says people turn into Daniel. She sees Daniel but with Andi's voice. Andi tries cheering her up but does tough love, forcing her out. At Maddie's, she is practicing her spells with a revenge list. Katie pretends to be Gigi and Emma makes her speak gibberish. Sophie pretends to be Andi and gets a tail. Andi treats Emma to a sundae bar at 7 and a day at the carnival. To cheer up Emma, Andi dances. Emma laughs, Gigi shows video to Desdemona. Desdemona makes a headband/hidden camera for Gigi to find video of Daniel and Emma. Desdemona summons real swords as props for the play. Next day Emma at school, she pictures the Panthers as Daniel and bumps into the real Daniel.

Daniel leaves and Jax talks to Emma. Jax tells Emma to pretend like she couldn't care less about him--Diego sees this and tells Daniel. Desdemona sees this on a tablet. Emma runs to Desdemona at the Clinic. Desdemona thinks they want to get back together, Emma tells her about her Daniel problem. Desdemona calls it the Broken Heart Witch Curse, she 'fixes' it. She urges to get back with him. Emma doesn't think he will get back to her. Desdemona thinks of making Emma as Juliet for the play. Maddie turns Jax's apple to a rotten apple as revenge. Jax turns magic at her, they get into a magic battle. Jax makes a protection bubble around himself that deflects her attacks. Diego comes in and sees popcorn falling. Diego makes a cold wind blast and knocks Jax down. Jax and Diego don't know each other's powers, Maddie covers it up. Francisco arrives and gets Frosty on him. He sends the three to detention and they convince him to have them help with the school play. Diego finds Jax is a wizard and Diego is a Kanay (Jax says eww), Emma says she'll pick Diego over Jax anytime. Diego and Emma leave. Meanwhile T3 add Jax to the prank list. Back at the stage, Andi and Emma help with the play as Danny and the gang practice.

Desdemona gives them their swords, she says the poison is real too. Franscico comes in with Jax, Diego and Maddie. Francisco is shocked to find out Desdemona has real stuff and tells her to use fake props. Diego and Andi are sent for fake props. Desdemona sends Maddie to help Katie. Desdemona makes Sophie sneeze, which Jax sees. Desdemona has Emma 'stand in' for Sophie. Emma and Danny agree begrudgingly. Pablo turns out to have the chicken pox and Jax agrees to replace him as Tybalt. Andi and Diego come with Salami and bread as fake swords. Jax hits Danny with the salami and they fight with the bread and salami. It is intense, even though they have no real swords. Everyone run out to see them 'fight' in the hall. Emma leaves. Everyone follows the two into the cafeteria, where their swords are both slashed in half. They argue who won and look for Emma, who is missing, so they run off for her. Meanwhile Maddie and Katie work on costumes. Maddie turns blue when she pinches her finger. Later, Emma opens her locker to get squirted, turns herself into a bird. Daniel witnesses this. Next week you get to see who gets pranked: Daniel or Jax!

Special Guests: Desdemona, Francisco
Not Present in the Episode: Ursula, Lily, Agamemnon

Review:
One of my favorite scenes this week has to be the Andi/Maddie Janitor's closet scene in the Monday episode. My favorite episode has to be "Emma Squad." I like Jax longing for Bad Emma. I do like the budding relationship between Maddie and Diego, it shows Maddie's softer side. Having Desdemona as the play director really extends the storyline for the final showdown. I am surprised they kept Diego knowing about Jax and Jax knowing about Diego for so long. Also Daniel still doesn't know about Jax. I really have to give kudos to Daniel's actor for the Friday episode because he has shown lots of range.

Every Witch Way Season 2 Week 2 Review

"Every Witch Way" airs on Nickeldeon at 7:30pm EST weeknights for the month of July.

"Daniel Who?"
Emma says 'fool moon' (and not Full Moon) and Daniel tells her she is catching Andi's accent. They almost kiss. Back at home, Jax shows off spells to Emma, who is not so happy at him. Daniel sees that Emma has her powers back and both Jax and Emma cast spells at the same time to Daniel and make him lose his memory. Jax makes him believe he is German and nerdy. Jax, Andi and Emma try to protect Daniel while trying to find a reversal spell. Miss Information interviews Daniel who says he likes Dolphin (opposing team) and Jax breaks her phone. Desdemona shows Emma her new 'look' and spies on Emma when Lily is to summoned to help her. Meanwhile, Diego tries to get things Maddie loves but gets confusing info from her friends. In the end, it is revealed Desdemona was the one who trapped the other council member and her plan is to destroy the magical realm so she is the last witch standing. Oh yeah and Daniel's memory is back but he doesn't know Emma and Jax are magical.
Special Guests: Desdemona, Ramona
Not present: Lily, Francisco

"No Can Do"
Jax shows up in Emma's house, he turns into a dog, making her think it is part of the Fool Moon but it was just a trick. She starts showing a wicked side by wrapping him into a straight jacket and throws him out. This is because of the effects of the Fool Moon. Gia misses her phone and takes her card in Diego's phone and gets her info back, seeing a video she took of Daniel saying he liked the Dolphins (rival team). Daniel and his mom go to his aunt's and have Emma babysit the T3. Her mean streak comes when they threaten to do another prank and she turns them into hamsters. She calls Andi for help but they both are no good at capturing them. They call Jax and he catches them. When Daniel returns, the kids are tired and sleepy. Diego finds a new power in merging with furniture and asks Urusula's help, she makes him close his eyes and uses her powers. Jax tries splitting Daniel and Emma apart but they end up getting even closer. Also, somewhere in the ep, Jax doesn't like Emma's insinuation that Jax can't beat Daniel without his powers. In the end, the council comes and tells Emma to dump Daniel, she refuses and is about to be punished. Andi calls Lily a traitor. Andi says she should be punish too, Agamemnon sends them away against Lily's wishes.
Complaint: I don't like how Lily and Agamemnon don't mention Desdemona's change in clothes nor her change in attitude.
Special Guests: Lily, Agamemnon, Desdemona, Ursula
Not Present: Francisco (Emma's dad)

"Werewolves in Siberia"
Emma and Andi are sent to Siberia. Emma teleports them back home and into a pool. Lily and Agamemnon for some reason have breakfast at the school and teleport Emma (from her bed) to them. Emma is mad at Lily and says that they are powerful than her ("for now")--which she regrets but it is under the influence of the Fool Moon. Agamemnon tells her that he put spells on her and sends her home. Lily hopes they are doing the right thing. They also briefly discussed Desdemona. Emma discovers the spells are related to anything Daniel-related, when he speaks, she sees him or 'Sharks' are mentioned, she says 'oh yeah' in a deep voice, screams or dances. Daniel and Jax try to one up one another about sports in front of the trophy case. Francisco comes and warns Daniel not to break it, Jax makes it fall. Francisco is about to punish Daniel when Jax makes him say to join the school play. Meanwhile, Diego merges to a chair and bonds with Maddie to get him out of the jam. The other Panthers grow jealous of Diego, try to 'capture' him and is caught by Maddie. Andi and Jax remove the spells from Emma when she is talking to Daniel in Emma's house. Maddie makes her mom convince Emma's dad to get Emma and Andi to go to a slumber party. Sophia catches Ursula with her powers and Ursula tells her she owes her a favor if she keeps it a secret. Francisco then breaks the news to Emma and Andi about the sleepover.  Also in the ep, Jax mentions his dad and brings his dad's books. He tries using Hex but Hex flies off.  Also I liked how Jax and Andi made fun of each other's accents, Andi sounded British and Jax sounded like a valley girl.
Special Guests: Lily, Agamemnon, Desdemona, Ursula, Francisco

"The No-Sleep Sleepover"
Francisco convinces Emma and Andi to go to Maddie's sleepover to save the school. Andi wants a skeleton key but in the end, just gets an air freshener. They go and find out Maddie is trying to trick Emma into using her powers---which Emma swears she doesn't have. Diego and Daniel have an 'all-nighter,' saying its over due and Jax arrives and finds the T3's supply closet. Ursula talks to Sophie about keeping her secret. Jax, Diego and Daniel work on a booby trap--which Jax uses magic to make it work. Ursula gives disgusting snacks and Maddie sends Katie with her to get Pizza. Gigi arrives at the sleepover and webcasts it. Daniel, Jax and Diego come to Maddie's house--Daniel has knowledge about it and Diego gets jealous. Andi does a scary makeover for Sophie, which she loves. Later, Andi hides her face due to Maddie's makeover and hides in her tent. Gigi plugs too many things in, making the lights go out. The boys find Sophie and scream.

The guys grab Diego, Emma comes and makes a spell, everyone freaks out and splits up. Maddie busts Emma on still having her powers back. Andi goes to fix the fuse box. Daniel and Diego find Jax. At 7, Ursula and Katie arrive for the pizza. Ursula bumps into Francisco. Ursula recognizes Desdemona, who can't see her due to squirting ketchup in her eyes and runs out. Diego, Daniel and Jax put together the trap for the 'zombie' but trap Sophie. The lights come back. Andi comes in her makeover, everyone screams. Katie and Ursula comes with the pizza. Later, Ursula tells the 3 boys to go in her car. The girls eat pizza. Everyone leaves Emma and Maddie alone--Maddie thinking Emma has her powers. The Fool Moon makes Emma tell Maddie to back off. Next morning, Ursula comes to clean up, uses powers and Emma catches her. Emma thinks it is the Fool Moon. Sophie comes and blabs that Ursula took Maddie's powers.
Special Guests: Ursula, Desdemona, Francisco
Not Present: T3, Lily, Agamemnon

Thursday there was Sports Kids Choice Awards so no new episode of "Every Witch Way."

 Review:
Engaging week, I like how this week dealt with more one-episode situations than last week that seem to spill storylines throughout. I personally don't like how Desdemona seems to be fooled by ordinary things. Also, that Jax is suddenly friendly with Daniel and Diego but probably because they are on the same swim team. I wish the Jax as a dog storyline was real and carried along a little longer. Jax and Emma's interactions seem to short and quickly resolved. Also, Jax needs someone to talk to for sure. A character to act as his conscious.

Recapping 5 seasons of "Angel" - Response to EW recap Buffy

Holt looks like that Lego Movie mentor in my memory.

A complicated cycle like I like it.

Every Witch Way Season 2 Week 1 Review

"Every Witch Way" is a 'month' event on Nickelodeon, it is a supernatural soap opera based on "Grachi" on Latin America Nick written by the same guy. It is about a young girl who has magic powers. In this case, Emma is the 'chosen one,' her father mortal and her mother presumed dead was a witch who gave up her powers. Maddie is an evil witch who wants to be the chosen one and lost her powers at the end of season one and now her mom has them. I didn't review Season 1 in January because I was busy with work. Also I didn't see much about it. So I am planning to review every week. The show may get dismissed for being a kids show or a cheap soap. But because I live in Miami and it is shot in Miami, I think I should promote it.

Also the show itself has its charms. The young cast works go hard and are genuinely charming. Some do need more acting classes but they are kids. Since it is a new episode every day and works as a soap, it has its mistakes and it is hilarious and its small budget is clearly obvious. The special effects aren't exactly Avatar but they are what is expected for a show like this and I don't think they are bad. The show has its own lore, which might seem familiar to Charmed or Harry Potter fans. Emma ( the endearing and earnest Paola Andino) has a mentor named Lily (the very grounded Melissa Carcache) and a magic book called Hex that floats around and acts like a pet.

"Jax of Hearts"
Super hot Australian Wizard Jax (the delight that is Rahart Adams) shows up, but when Miss Information puts him on the spot, he becomes the topic of the school. Emma's dad is now the principal of the school. Daniel tries to make things right with Emma's father, but it becomes difficult when the Terrible Three try to get revenge on him. Maddie refuses to go to school without her powers--which her mom now has and hides from everyone. Lily tells Emma that she cannot date Daniel anymore and the witches council (two women Ramona and Desdemona and one man Agamemnon) shows up when Andi tries to break into the secret portal via some lockers. I like characters that mixes things up and Jax sure does this. Jax finds out Emma is a witch but no one knows he is a wizard... yet.
Special Guests: Lily, Ramona, Desdemona, Agamemnon, Ursula, Francisco

"Runaway Witch"
The witches council shows up at Emma's house and tries to convince Emma not to date Daniel, but she refuses. Diego tries to cheer Maddie up about losing her powers, but her friend Katie convinces him to use his powers anytime Maddie casts a spell so she will think that her powers are back. One of the council member, Ramona, disappears (mid-way through her introduction and we can clearly see she isn't there right before Desdemona mentions it!) and gets trapped, so the council chooses Lily to be the new member. At lunch, Agamnemon joins Andi and Emma who they nickname "Uncle Ron" and soon ditch the story to tell Daniel he is a teacher. Jax sees him and recognizes him as Agamemnon and teleports (and just appears a few feet away and supposedly Andi and Emma don't notice) and he befriends the ditzy Sophie (who eats the school plants). Lily leaves and tells Emma that Desdemona will take her place and help her for the Fool Moon. Lily gives Emma a magic phone (which she doesn't use until the following week). Also, Jax casts a spell to make a text he does to Emma appear to be from her boyfriend Daniel's phone.
Special Guests: Lily, Ramona, Desdemona, Agamemnon, Ursula, Francisco

"Love Pie Redux"
Emma arrives to the Chemistry class to meet Daniel but it was Jax. He reveals to her that he is a Wizard and she is angry. He is spinning chemicals in the air and they fall on Emma. Jax disappears. Emma is left all 'gooed' when the Chemistry teacher arrives to take her to the Principal office. Katie, Sophie and Diego try to convince Maddie that she has her powers back, by going to crazy lengths and trying to make it look like Maddie's spells worked, but Maddie finds out they were just pretending. Jax then offers to help her with her disappearing (transportation) spells. Meanwhile Ursula (learning spell from Maddie's friends) makes the love pie for Francisco (Emma's dad) and they get invited to his house, where they announce that they are getting married and Maddie and Emma are gonna be sisters.
Special Guests: Ursula, Francisco
Not Present: Lily

 "Powers by Proxy"
Emma and Maddie receive some disturbing news: their parents are getting married, because Ursula cast the love spell on a pie and gave it to Francisco; Daniel is put in Detention by Francisco thanks to something he didn't do. Jax tries to get Daniel in trouble. Jax goes to visit Emma hoping to help to find out who made the spell on her father. When Emma is away, Jax makes a spell so he can see Daniel in detention and he makes him write on the board bad things about Francisco.; Andi finds a pair of magic goggles in the clinic. Daniel's brothers eat the magic pie and fall for Andi and do things for her. Diego (who Maddie calls "Proxy") helps Maddie in everything and Maddie at the same time starts to realize she likes Diego. Jax tries out for the swim team Sharks (which Daniel, Andi and Diego are part of) and he uses magic which Andi sees with her magic goggles.
Special Guests: Francisco, Ursula
Not Present: Lily

"Fool Moon"
Andi gets on Jax's case for cheating and he denies it. Jax steals Andi's goggles. Desdemona gets a job at Iridium High so she can help Emma through the Witches' Fool Moon. Emma finds out that Desdemona and her mom were once friends. Emma's mom helped Desdemona out when she was under the control of the Fool Moon, she completely changed. At the local hangout, Andi threatens Jax, prompting him to stick her to the floor and then Daniel's brothers (under the love pie spell) subject her to their poems. Later, Jax introduces himself to Maddie, showing her that he can make spells in his mind and not outloud like she did while Diego still tries to get in her good graces. Back at Emma's house, Andi finds out the pie had a love spell thanks to the goggles they got back from Jax and they reverse the spell. Emma then reverses the spell on her dad at the hangout where he is with Urusula. Later, Daniel and Emma go to a secluded spot to look at the full moon. A red mist emerges that changes Desdemona (who smelled the Churi Kanay off of Diego) into a darker alter ego.
Special Guests: Desdemona
Not Present: Lily

 Review:
Ooh, I just love the cheesy-ness and campiness. They cut the fat with goofy male characters and added some characters to mix things up like Jax and Desdemona. The names are also clever like Agamemnon which is from greek mythology and the Churikanay (sons of fire) which originated from Grachi, are wizards that powers come from the elements. In Grachi, there were three, so far here we have two. In the original Grachi, the actors were slightly older, here most of them are under 18. It is not a direct translation as some characters are missing and some changed. I like the direction the series is going, I can't wait to see what's up next week!

History of Animated Series of DC Comics Superhero teams

Here I include Justice League, Young Justice and Teen Titans.

Super Friends (1973-1974)
Super Friends first aired on ABC on September 8, 1973, featuring the well known DC characters Superman, Batman and Robin, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman. Superman, Batman and Aquaman had each previously appeared in their own animated series produced by Filmation, and voice talent from these prior programs was brought over to work on the new show. In addition to the superheroes, a trio of sidekicks was introduced, each of whom were new characters not drawn from the comic books: Wendy Harris, Marvin White  and Wonderdog.

 The All-New Superfriends Hour (1977-1978)
The All-New Super Friends Hour ran from September 10, 1977, to September 2, 1978, on ABC. It was produced by Hanna-Barbera and is based on the Justice League and associated comic book characters published by DC Comics. In this particular incarnation of the Super Friends, the DC Comic book legends Superman, Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman and Aquaman return to fight for justice. However, this time, they get help from the shape-shifting super-teens Zan and Jayna (a.k.a. The Wonder Twins), along with their space-monkey Gleek. Also included were new heroes created for the series such as Samurai, Apache Chief and Black Vulcan. Existing characters included Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Green Lantern, The Flash and Rima the Jungle Girl.

Justice League (2001-2004)
Justice League ran from 2001 to 2004 on Kids WB and Cartoon Network. It is part of the DC animated universe. The main team included Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, Green Lantern (John Stewart) and Martain Manhunter.

Featuring a wide array of superheroes from the DC Comics universe, and specifically based on the Justice League superhero team, it is a direct sequel to the previous Justice League animated series. JLU debuted on July 31, 2004 on Toonami and ended with the episode aired May 13, 2006. It was also the final series set in the long-running DC animated universe, which started with Batman: The Animated Series in 1992. It included canon from B:TAS, S:TAS, Batman Beyond, Static Shock and the Zeta Project.

 Teen Titans (2003-2006)
Teen Titans is an American TV show based on the DC Comics characters of the same name, that premiered on Cartoon Network and The WB in 2003. It is based primarily on the run of stories by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez in the early-1980s New Teen Titans comic book series. The show was created by Glen Murakami, developed by David Slack, and produced by Warner Bros. Animation. It premiered on Cartoon Network on July 19, 2003 and ended January 16, 2006, with the film Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo serving as the series finale. Young Justice (2010-2013)
Young Justice (dubbed Young Justice: Invasion for the second season) was created by Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman for Cartoon Network. Despite its title, it is not a direct adaptation of Peter David, Todd Dezago and Todd Nauck's Young Justice comic series, but rather an adaptation of the entire DC Universe with a focus on young superheroes. The Team included Superboy, Robin (Dick Grayson and then Tim Drake), Kid Flash (Wally West), Aqualad, Miss Martian, Speedy, Zantana, Artemis and Rocket. The main setting is the fictional universe of Earth-16, during a time period in which superheroes are a relatively recent phenomenon. The series ended alongside fellow DC Nation show Green Lantern: The Animated Series after its second season came to a conclusion during spring 2013.

Teen Titans (2013-)
Teen Titans Go! was announced following the popularity of DC Nation's New Teen Titans shorts, both of which are based on the 2003 Teen Titans TV series. Teen Titans Go! is a more comedic take on the DC Comics franchise, dealing with situations that happen outside of saving the world.
The original principal voice cast returns to reprise their respective roles. The series is rated TV-PG for sci-fi violence, rude humor, and suggestive content

77 years of Superman: History fo Animated Series

The animated history of Superman is much older than Batman but smaller. I am not counting Justice League nor Superfriends.

Fleischer and Famous Superman (1941-1943)
The Fleischer & Famous Superman cartoons are a series of seventeen animated Technicolor short films released by Paramount Pictures and based upon the comic book character Superman.
The pilot and first eight shorts were produced by Fleischer Studios from 1941 to 1942, while the final eight were produced by Famous Studios, a successor company to Fleischer Studios, from 1942 to 1943. Superman was the final animated series initiated under Fleischer Studios, before Famous Studios officially took over production in May 1942.

Superman: The Animated Series (1996-2000)
Superman: The Animated Series (STAS) was produced by Warner Bros. Animation and originally aired on The WB Television Network from September 6, 1996 to February 12, 2000. The series was the first of several spin-offs of the acclaimed Batman: The Animated Series, and was equally praised for its thematic complexity, quality animation, maturity and modernization of its title character. Tim Daly provided the voice.

The New Batman/Superman Adventures (1997-2000)
It was a package series that combined STAS with The New Batman Adventures that aired from 1997–2000 on Kids' WB. Each half-hour episode in the hour and one half block, featured either a single repeat from the original Superman run, the original B:TAS, or a brand new story featuring Batman made specifically for this series. The two animated universes were united in the Superman episode "World's Finest", which tells the story of Batman and Superman's first meeting. New Superman episodes that later aired in the Fall 1998 season and onward are now considered to be the third season of Superman: The Animated Series.

75 of Batman: History of Animated Series

Even though Batman first appeared animated in Super Friends, and also appeared in Justice League, I am only covering the series that were solely about Batman (or in the case of "Gotham Girls" was set in same world as the original 1992 series).

Batman: The Animated Series/The Adventures of Batman and Robin (1992-1995)
Originally ran from 1992 to 1995 on the Fox Kids Network, it is considered one of the best. It spearheaded the Fox Kids craze, being the popular and brought on classics like Tiny Toons, Bobby's World, Power Rangers, Animaniacs and so on. This cartoon was sort of based on Batman (1989) and Batman Returns (1992) and spawned the theatrical release "Batman: Mask of the Phantom" in 1993. It also gave the world Harley Quinn. Dick Grayson's Robin had a similar costume to Tim Drake's from the comics at the time and he was romantically linked to Barbara Gordon's Batgirl. For season two, it was changed to "The Adventures of Batman and Robin." This also spun-off to "The New Batman Adventures" and web series "Gotham Girls."

The New Batman Adventures (1997-1999)
Three years after the second season of Batman: The Animated Series ended production, the show was moved (as The New Batman Adventures) from Fox to The WB channel, which was airing and producing Superman: The Animated Series. According to the reference book Batman Animated, series writer Paul Dini originally wanted the new show to be titled Batman: Gotham Knights, but this idea was rejected by the other producers. This series introduced Tim Drake as Robin and Dick Grayson as Nightwing.

Batman Beyond (1999-2001)
Batman Beyond depicting teenager Terry McGinnis as a new Batman in a futuristic Gotham City under the tutelage of an elderly Bruce Wayne that aired on Kids WB. Will Friedle (Boy Meets World) played Terry. Among the live-action films proposed between the critical failure of Batman & Robin and the reboot of the Batman franchise was a live-action Batman Beyond feature, to be written by Paul Dini but it was let go. In April 2014, a Batman Beyond short by Darqyn Cooke that airs on Cartoon Network, which saw Conroy and Friedle reprise their roles from the show.

Gotham Girls (2002)
Gotham Girls is an American Flash animation series about the females of Gotham City in 2002. Episodes starred Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Batgirl, Catwoman and Zatanna in short stories. The series lasted for three seasons (10 episodes each), with each episode released month-by-month. Third Season dropped the Zatanna from its lineup and adding Detective Renee Montoya, each episode from this series tied into the next, forming a collective thirty-minute whodunit. The storyline also dealt with issues not seen since Batman: The Animated Series, such as the corruption of the Gotham City Police Department, Poison Ivy's environmental crusade, Commissioner Gordon's wavering faith in costumed superheroes and Det. Selma Reesedale, a character revealed early on to be a male-to-female transsexual.

The Batman (2004-2008)
The Batman ran from September 11, 2004 to March 22, 2008, on Kids' WB. Although the series borrows many elements from previous Batman storylines, it does not follow the continuity set by the comic books, the film series, nor that of Batman: The Animated Series and its spin-offs. The character designs were provided by Jackie Chan Adventures artist Jeff Matsuda; he also directed the ending. Barbara tries to be The Batman's sidekick, but he refuses to accept the need for a partner until the end of the season. This differed from the comics, in which Robin was The Batman's first sidekick; this was due to the Teen Titans animated series using the character, limiting his ability to appear in other shows. Robin later premiered in Season 4 after Teen Titans was cancelled.
Batman: The Brave and the Bold (2008-2011)
Batman: The Brave and the Bold is based in part on the DC Comics series The Brave and the Bold which features two or more super heroes coming together to solve a crime or foil a super villain. As the title suggests, the cartoon focuses on Batman's regular "team-ups" with various heroes similar to the most well-known version of the original comic book series. The series premiered on November 14, 2008 on Cartoon Network and ended on November 18, 2011.

Beware the Batman (2013-2014)
Beware the Batman was computer-animated and premiered on Cartoon Network on July 13, 2013, as part of their DC Nation block. It is the replacement for Batman: The Brave and the Bold. Beware the Batman was pulled from the Cartoon Network schedule and put on hiatus on October 23, 2013 without explanation. The series returned to Cartoon Network via Adult Swim's Toonami block on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 3:00am; Toonami plans to air all 26 episodes starting from the beginning.
