Maya Rudolph leaves SNL after 7 years

I know it has been probably a month, but I have only been able to cover this until now. Maya Rudolph started in 2000 with SNL and disappeared after the writer's strike. When Tina Fey hosted Saturday Night Live on Feb 23, Maya didn't come back. She gave back to her daughter in 2005, maybe she wanted to take her of her kid. EURweb.com says: "Turns out the actress has been working without a contract since the beginning of the season. She had originally told NBC on Sept. 23 that she would leave the show because of unspecified contract issues. But she changed her mind and decided to return for her eighth season and work until a new contract could be hammered out." She says: "It was an agonizing decision, but ultimately, I feel I made the best choice both as a mother and as an actress. I couldn’t be happier to be returning to SNL,' Rudolph said in a statement at the time." She will soon be in a untitled romantic comedy with John Krasinski.
