In 1999 an advertisment went out by Simon Cowell for a co-ed pop band, seven were chosen and became S Club 7, they became known to the world through a series of television series: S Club 7 in Miami, S Club 7 in L.A., S Club 7 in Hollywood and Viva S Club. They had couple of hit songs, eventually Paul Cattermole left the group in 2002 and eventually they broke up in 2003.

After leaving S Club he rejoined his old school nu-metal band Skua. However, Skua split up before they’d even started and in 2005 he was lead singer and songwriter to a rock band called Charlie Bullitt, which he left in friendly terms in 2006.
