In and Outs of the Closet

I was gathering information on claims that Charlie Christ is gay and I was realized that it is better not dwell on these things. Even in the case of Christian Chavez of RBD that where he should be honest with himself but people also aren't ready to come out. But then comes the argument where if you are in the public eye, you shouldn't be doing activity that you are supposedly against. Well here are some links. It's old news. But I hope, he can be honest with himself and when it is revealed, if he indeed is gay, I hope he does not resign. I did not vote for him but it would suck.

March 23: One Year Anniversary

I always make a big to-do about one year anniversaries about my websites. I think it is important for some reason. Especially this time because I can't even muster to believe it has been one year. It is a year, yay! I have had so much fun doing this blog and have wanted to do it for a long time. I got an e-mail about eight years ago from someone to do something like this before blogs were even popular but I wasn't even sure what I was going to write about it. I'm glad I have been able to create something that is perhaps unconventional and jumbled like this, work. I sitll don't know what I will do for the anniversary, may not be a huge to-do but we'll see.

Christian Chávez releases statement about him coming out

There is very little articles and information on Christian Chávez and even on him being gay in English. As you may already know, I have already suspected so. He made a statement today March 2nd to his fans that he is gay. Without any links or sources, the Spanish Wikipedia says today. I heard from a friend that today he announced it and that he is also married to a boyfriend he has had for three years or so but she is not sure what show she saw it. Stupid fricks on Venezuelan gossip show made a big deal about it and state that people saw him making out with a guy in South Beach. Damn, I wish I was there. Here it says he denies it.

Fans talk about it here on Univision. And here he claimed someone tried to drug him in Miami as well. I think it is about time and he should have been open for years. It isn't the biggest part of him and he shouldn't worry about it.

Scrubs/Fray Joke

'Scrubs' gave a wink and nod joke about the newest trend of medical shows using the music of the Fray. With clips, they said 'here is a Fray song' and the 'Grey Anatomy' one played and then he said 'no, this Fray song' and they played another.

For a change of pace, here is Japanese Pop artist Ayumi Hamasaki with a throwback video.

Life and Times of Anthony Castro, Out HS Jock

This is the courageous story of Anthony Castro, an openly gay high school student who died in a car accident, he was a rarity in the not-so-open Californian town of Banning. He loved all sports, especially football. He became friends with the Californians of OutSports.com and joined their weekend team. I think everyone should read his story. I am not really one to be 'oh he had a brillant life' or 'life cut short' or 'he was brave' but he was brave and he lived his life. He went for his passions and that was sports. He just happened to be homosexual. And his life was taken like any other regular person's would, not a hate crime or singled out or a disease which is the stereotype. It's sad for everyone's loss but maybe we can learn a lot from this young individual.
