Reverend Ted Haggard who I mentioned in November, went through 'rehab' or whatever Isaiah Washington is taking and now claims he 'completely Heterosexual' and AOL users voted that they are not convinced. Neither am I, you can't hide who you are.Explaining the title: I am forty-something Latino who has a fondness for the Japanese culture and speak Spanglish--Spanish and English. Some people say "Span-English" so I mixed it with "Engrish," which is how some Japanese pronounce English.

Kamen Rider Cutie #1
This is Matt Smith and he is 18 and has recently filmed a pilot attempting to revamp the American version of the tokusatsu (Live-Action children adventure) series Kamen Rider. It was previously unsuccessfully adapted into Masked Rider by Haim Saban of the Power Rangers fame.
This time they are adapting the most popular series of recent times Kamen Rider Ryuki (2002) into 'Kamen Rider Dragon Knight.' (somewhat rough translation, though they are keeping the word 'Kamen' instead of 'Mask') I believe Ryuki was so popular because the great writing. It centered around one Rider who tried to make peace among a dozen or so Riders who wanted to kill each other to see who was the best meanwhile monsters would come froma mirror world. Trust me, it is much more complicated than that.
He is of German, Irish, Scottish, and English heritage on his Mother's side, and Italian, Hungarian, Polish and German on his father's side. He plays the lead role of Kit/the Dragon Knight, the pilot is being shopped around now and hasn't been picked up yet.
It is being produced by the American Toei company and directed by Steve and Mike Wang. Steve Wang has directed a couple of American Tokusatsu movies like Guyver and has done art direction for Underworld, special effects supervisor for Gremlins 2 and project supervisor for The Devil's Advocate. Steve dropped out of the MMPR: The Movie because of conflicts on production design.
He has previsouly been on "Drake and Josh" and "Hack."Update July 25, 2008:
He played a mannequin come to life in "Wizards of Waverly Place."

Super Bowl
I, as a gay man, love the Super Bowl. My family and I always have a big event and eat barbecue, chips and soda and watch the commercials. Most of the years, I do pay attention to the game but mostly watch because of the commercials. I always look forward to. What I haven't look forward to these days is the half-time show since the Jackson/Timberlake catastrophe. Will they ever trust a woman again to be in the half-time show?! (Last year it was Mcartney and this time Prince) Fergie was slated to a 'Pepsi Smash' show. Sunday's Super Bowl XLI is the third most watched television program in the United States drew nearly 2.5 million more viewers. Only the 1996 Dallas Cowboys' victory over Pittsburgh had a bigger TV audience, averaging 94.8 million viewers. Ironically, this year I only saw bits and pieces. As for here in Miami, traffic was a nightmare in Miami beach because everyone was attracted to it to host parties while the actual Dolphin Stadium (Formerly the Pro Player/Joe Robbie Stadium) is about 18 miles away. And on Monday, the stadium's store had a 50% off sale bringing hordes of people as if they were looting the place. And major congrats to the Colts! Go Colts! God knows rain is a bitch to play in.
Lane Garrison may face felony
As mentioned in a December post, Lane Garrison maybe charged with gross vehicular manslaughter, DUI (TV Guide says he had a blood alchol level more than twice the limit and was under the infulence of cocaine), and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He is currently not working and everything is to be reviewed by the lawyers involved.Joss Whedon directs The Office!
My favorite writer/director/genius and basically my all around idol Joss Whedon will direct the American 'The Office' episode of February 15th. A bat is featured in the episode and according to TV Guide, he wasn't expecting to it and what he was running away from---but there only was 1 bat in the whole Buffy series ("Buffy vs. Dracula"). Cool beans.
