Top 5 Male Actors I didn't know were under 5'8" in height

In the movies, actors look larger than life. This is a list of actors I am surprised are shorter than I. I am 5'11" and these are under 5'8". There is nothing wrong being short and there could be people that are shorter. I think they are average height. Obvious is Tom Cruise at 5'7" but I already knew that.

5. Darren Criss
Height: 5'8"
Claim to fame: Glee

4. Zac Efron
Height: 5'8"
Claim to fame: High School Musical, Charlie St. Cloud, 17 Again
Most teen idols are tall, I thought at age 26 he'd be taller by now.

3. Josh Hutcherson
Height: 5'6"
Claim to Fame: Bridge to Tarbaitha, Journey to the center of the Earth, Hunter Games, The Kids are Alright
He's 20, I was just surprised how short he is. Doesn't matter, just a surprise.

2. Mark Wahlberg
Height: 5'7"
Claim to fame: Pain and Gain, Three Kings, Boogey Knights, Ted
Like Robert Downey Jr., he gives off a big presence.

1. Robert Downey Jr.
Height: 5'8"
Claim to fame: Johnny Be Good, Natural Born Killers,  Iron Man
He comes off tall to me, must be his presence.

Flaws with Premise of Playing For Keeps

Gerard Butler plays a soccer player in Playing For Keeps (2012)----one of his nine upcoming projects and he is after one woman, 'the one that got away.' The problem is that the woman he is after is Jessica Biel, who is 30 years old. Gerard Butler will be 43 on November 13th. Gerard is 13 years older than Jessica. Jessica would had have like a 12 year span from being 18 to being 30 to have dated Gerard. When Jessica was 18, he was 31 approximately. I mean, it is not a leap but I find the premise hilarious. I mean, it is socially acceptable these days for an older man and younger woman. But there is a double standard with older women and younger men.

Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon Levitt in Looper

I'm not buying the prosthetic or eye contacts on Joseph Gordon Levitt to be a younger Bruce Willis in the film Looper (2012). JGL said that he originally wanted to play the older version of himself but the director didn't let him. I found a pic of Bruce in 1986 at 31 years old, the same age as JGL is right now but doesn't look anything like what they made JGL look like in Looper. It is like people have been saying, that we know what BW looked like in 1986 and also, JGL is relatively well-known now and BW is soooo well known, it is hard to connect the two. In the last pic, I used Morphthing.com to morph two pics of the two actors at the same age to see what it would look like.

Mad at "Man Up"

"Man Up" has been an expression for five years or maybe more, I thought it would die down like 'For sizzle my nizzle' or 'hinky' but apparently not. Even 'Metrosexual' has died down. But I think the word 'Man Up' has to do more as a revenge or revolt over Metrosexuals, Gay Marriage and supposed feminine man take over. I don't like 'Man up' because it is unnecessary, I know 'Man up' can be broken up to mean 'step up, show some courage.' But when I hear 'Man up,' I think about stereotypical behavior such as playing football, burping, butt scratching, being masognistic and stupidity. Also, that if someone tells you 'man up' that you (as a man) are acting feminine, like eating low-fat foods, waxing eyebrows, etc. and that is bad and should stop. Dr. Pepper 10 is no girls allowed, supposedly, it has 10 calories and it is for men. I think it is a revolt against the notion that men have 'soften up' and need something 'manly' like a ManWhich or a ManMeal. I also don't like the terms ManDate, ManScaping or ManPurse. Hopefully the new ABC sitcom "Man Up!" will be the recently canceled sitcom. (The promo below shows them drinking drinks that are probably considered feminine just because they are bright, colorful and fruity.) I recently tried Dr. Pepper 10 and it is like Pepsi Zero, not as great as the original.

Charlie Sheen Roast Review

Originally I thought this was going to be a disaster but it was pretty good and funny. They even tore Seth Macfarlene a new one. Kate Walsh (Private Practice) was there, everyone made fun of her, she was cruel but not so funny. She resorted only to gay jokes Jon Lovitz promised to be pathetic but he was quite funny. They all made fun of Partice O'Neal's diabetes and he rightfully complained about it. Seth was the only one to poke at many of Charlie's quotes like a Vatican assassin. At the end, Charlie says he has seen the error of his ways and that he will change. It is sort of humbling and a little discerning, because we expect him to be nuts and upset, but in the end, he learned his lesson... he says. Oh and I forgot to mention Mike Tyson's smart ass jokes but his voice and accent ruined it. William Shatner gave some sage advise, but I don't think I will be giving it a second look.

Andre Pejic taken off FHM Magazine 100 Sexiest Women

Serb-Bosnian Australian Andrej Pejic is all the rage in the Fashion World. In March, he was voted 98th of FHM Magazine's Sexiest Women. FHM quickly pulled off his picture in their online version but it remained in the printed version. Some people say it had unlined homophobic. And it doesn't seem like FHM has realized an official statement about the retraction. Andrej is 20 and has modeled in Women's and Men's clothing. Andrej says men still offer to buy him a beer even after the clarification.

"The difference is that he is still biologically a man. Pejic said he does not take hormones to alter his appearance, and he has never had to shave his face. While he does consider himself to fall under the transgender umbrella, Pejic said he has no plans to undergo any surgeries. “I feel comfortable the way I am,” he said. “I don’t feel the need to alter my body significantly.” Happy in his own skin, Pejic readily admits that his look doesn’t just blur the line between male and female, it seems to erase it. The runway is now dominated by flat-chested, rail-thin giants like him. More friendly than flirtatious, Pejic said he’ll chat with both men and women while out in public, but remained coy about his sexual identity and his romantic life." "Now, I tend to use the women's room because it's a lot less complicated," he said. "When I try to use the men's room it's like, 'Please leave,' when I want to go to the toilet. I don't want to go through the whole process."

The two articles below talk about 'passing the sick bucket', ugh, lord. There is still stigma about transgender individuals:

"American Idol" Alum David Archuleta's Father Busted For Soliciting Prostitute
http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/american-idol-alum-david-archuletas-father-busted-for-soliciting-prostitute-20090618

Jeff Archuleta, the father of “American Idol” Season 7 runner-up David Archuleta, was charged with alleged patronization of a prostitute back in January, according to court papers acquired by Access Hollywood. Sgt. John Salazar of the Midvale, Utah, police department confirmed to Access that on Jan. 14, Archuleta was cited for the alleged misdemeanor during a sting at the Queens of Reiki massage parlor. Police had reports of improper business conduct by the parlor, which they discovered did not have a business license.

http://www.dlisted.com/2011/06/01/taylor-lautners-dad-might-be-crazy
Taylor Lautner's publicist is fucking done with him professionally and it isn't because of a gay scandal or anything like that. It's because Taylor's father is the second coming of Kit Culkin wrapped in White Oprah and incubated inside of an episode of Toddlers & Tiaras.

They are called Stage Dads. But hasn't this guy learned from his son? I mean, he's so fat! I know Taylor had to eat a lot to build up muscle but this is ridiculous.

Trainwreck waiting to happen: Charlie Sheen ROAST

Comedy Central said today that Family Guy boss Seth MacFarlane will host the Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen, which will tape in Los Angeles on Sept. 10 ahead of a Sept. 19 airdate -- which happens to be the same night CBS premieres the post-Sheen post-Two And a Half Men. MacFarlane has hosted two previous roasts.

Comedy Central's head of original programming and production Kent Alterman added:

“Charlie has assured us that nothing will be off limits in this Roast… which scares even us.”

These roasts are often therapeutic for a person,” Jeffery Ross (The unicorn in Toy Story 3) said, in an interview with EW. “These are things he needs to hear...I see this as a comedy intervention." Ross also hinted about the "long list" of people from Sheen's past, who might come back looking for revenge. “I think people are going to be blown away by the line up,” he replied “There has been interest from very surprising people."

"There's less [cocaine] left on the planet because of me, so roast away," Sheen acknowledged, laughing. "If that's what's in store for me, then bring it," he said, agreeing that cocaine and hooker jokes would probably be "vying for first place" in terms of frequency up on the dais.

Strike One Jon Stewart for the Gays

Jon Stewart has always been pro-gay and more progressive about LGBT issues and being a New York citizen, he is more intune with things. But just saying Michelle Bauchmann's husband Markus dancing 'gay' like and is Anti-Gay (with a born-again gay-away therapy), he gets Jerry Seinfeld to help him. But I think it had to do more about comedy and making fun of people. But Seinfeld, who judges men if they are effeminate, evidence by The Marriage Ref. It is ironic, or coincidental or hilarious that Jon is acting like Seinfeld on the Marriage Ref and Seinfeld is actually logic. Is it because it was written for Jerry or does he really feel that way? Because he did go 'blue' on the Marriage Ref, judging a husband for being 'gay' and going for cheap stereotypes. The bit between Jon and Jerry was pretty good. They actually dealt with not going for the 'obvious' stereotype, that Markus' dancing was effeminate and socially incorrectly believed to be 'gay.' Could Jon be intuitive enough to be comparing this behavior to Bauchmann's misuse of the word 'gay'?

Dire Straits - Money For Nothing -- Homophobic??!

I grew up with the Dire Straits - Money For Nothing song that came out in 1985 and loved the 'I want MTV' line and loved the music video--one of the firsts to use computer graphics. If you don't know, this is the song that says 'Microwave ovens' and 'I want my MTV.' But I listened it today on the radio (103.5 FM) and my dad thought it was a remix and it was actual the original song because it says 'faggot.' I was shocked to hear the word 'faggot' on the radio. I was shocked but yeah, this song has been controversial for years, for it being homophobic, sexist and more other stuff.

Seth Macfarlane's Crossover Night postponed

This Sunday there was to be a crossover between the three cartoons Seth Macfarlane has created such as Family Guy, The Cleaveland Show and American Dad but it was pulled tonight.
A couple of days ago, CNN announced the grim 24-hour long storms that mostly devastated Alabama, actually caused nearly 300 deaths. Earlier, local reports had only discussed fallout from the storms occurring in particular areas and the destruction seemed less ruinous. With the final tally, the situation became even more tragic, and will be cemented into cultural consciousness as the weeks go on. It came as no surprise when Fox pulled its Sunday night cartoon plan out of this week’s lineup. This week’s planned crossover plotline, featuring a hurricane catastrophe, couldn’t have been less timely.

Initially, when news of the storms hit, Fox pulled promotion for the crossover episodes, including American Dad, Family Guy, and The Cleveland Show. Had the storms been less damaging, this might have been enough. However, in lieu of the tornadoes, Deadline is reporting Fox decided to air reruns this week. The pulled episodes will be gone from this season altogether, but could air next year.

PINK is a color!!!!

As usual, the Daily Show brought it up to me: J. Crew Ad Controversy: Boy with Pink Toenails. And of course everyone is freaking out and especially Keith Arlow, who Jon Stewart brings it up as the cover of his book with Glenn Beck looks like a same sex raising book. And it is true, it does. And like Jon says, a weekend with children gets boring. PINK IS JUST A FREAKIN COLOR, not a gender constitute. Just because a boy wears pink anywhere doesn't mean it will effect his psyche so much that it will determine his sexual identity or orientation. Now, yes in our culture pink is seen as a girl color. But it is just one little ad, it is not like a PSA or a goverment thing. And plenty of athletes have worn pink for Breast Cancer support to find the cure and no one has said bub-kiss.

Victoria Jackson's attention getting about Glee Gay Kiss

Okay, my friends already heard me rant about this. Victoria Jackson, Saturday Night Live alum is now trying to get attention (from already declaring that the president is a communist) by being outraged by Kurt and Blaine kissing in Glee. She said she loved the show, that she identified with Kurt's struggle, and that she knows her gay friends are probably not going to approve (are you kidding me? Of course not, you stupid bitch). And now she is getting flack and rightly so. For some time, Jackson has appeared on Bill O’Reilly’s show and The 700 Club, claiming to be a devout Christian and fervent Republican. My friend brought up a good point in saying that she had no idea who Victoria Jackson was, and that proves what her impact has been. Her last acting role was in "Kamen Rider Dragon Knight" in 2009 as Aunt Grace, aunt to one of the main characters, an aspiring writer. She needs help, really. And HLN and other news networks have to stop giving her attention.

She said that she knew other people felt like her and yes, that they do. And they aren't silenced at all, lady. You are silencing other people. You are just outraged about two kids in love? And you said it was the worse thing on TV? Hello?! Go complain about family Guy and blood coming out of a baby or the Jersey Shore, but not Glee. It has taken years for gay people to be taken seriously, let alone gay characters. Gay teens never gotten to kiss and they are a significant minority. Kurt and Blaine are positive role models, they don't do drugs, they don't drink too much (Blaine did but learned his lesson I hope), they care about others and represent so many kids out there. Do you know how many gay teen suicides happen every year Victoria?! Ugh, just go home and feed your cats.

Bobby Moynihan should play Taco Bell President Greg Creed on SNL

Taco Bell President Greg Creed above with Ken and Barbie. Creed has come around because of the debate over Taco Bell not having Beef. I think Saturday Night Live, if they do a sketch about this, should use Bobby Moynihan as Greg Creed. He could totally played him. Many like his take on Snooki.

Interesting fact on Disney's Family Tree and Elbridge Gerry

There is a segment that airs during commercials called "My Family Tree" on the Disney Channel. Two children travel to find where their ancestor from their father's side, Elbridge Gerry, lived. Elbridge Gerry was an American statesman, diplomat and Vice-President to the USA. When the question of slavery came before Congress, Col. Isaac Coles of Virginia voted to abolish the practice of slavery, while his brother-in-law Elbridge Gerry of Massachusetts voted to retain the same. "In his time there were not many who openly opposed slavery and he was no different, slavery was an unfortunate way of life back then." So basically he did not want to abolish slavery. The two kids' father is named after him and he is White, but their mother is Black and they look more like their mother, their skin color is similar. I think it is a quirky thing about the times, how they change. And maybe a bit ironic. Of course, the segment is short and doesn't mention slavery or how Gerry felt about it. I doubt the Disney Channel would bring it up otherwise in this sort of context.

The Black Cauldron on ABC Family

The film is based on Lloyd Alexander's Chronicles of Prydain book series, which is in turn based on Welsh mythology. It debuted in 1985 and took many years to make, maybe 8 or 5. John Katzenberg came in when it was almost finished and he wanted to cut out a lot of the violence. The animators told him you can't edit an Animated film once it has already been animated. Anyway, Katzenberg made the hard work into a mess, the quality isn't 100%, it was a box office failure. This morning I wake at 8:30 to discover it was airing! It aired from 7am to 9am on ABC Family and it is not scheduled to air again any time soon. They most likely aired it for Halloween, it would have been nice to get a heads up.It was the most expensive animated feature made as of its release in 1985. It cost $25 million to produce, but grossed only $21 million at the North American box office. In September, it was released on DVD.

Wow Rudy and Fox News get what Imam said wrong

Iman Feisal Abdul Rauf was interview and said that if the mosque is taken away, it makes a message to the terrorist extremists of the middle east even madder with the United States. Yet Rudy Giuliani and Fox News (surprise surprise) chose to misunderstand and take it as a threat or a 'vieled' threat from Rauf himself. Will this ever end?

CapriSun's Disrespectoids: Killing Children

For more than a year, Caprisun fruit juice has had an advertisement campaign called The Disrepectoids, in which children disrespect the Caprisun pouch (Respect the Pouch) and become strange objects based on the assault that have done to the juice drink. Each has a unique name and you can play several games on their website. For example, a boy's head is replaced by a Bobble Head replica of his head (below); a boy poked holes in a pouch so he now has holes in his body; a girl becomes an inanimate pogo stick (above); a girl becomes an inanimate replica of herself in balloons in the style of balloon animals; a girl becomes whoopie cushion replica of herself but can still move, see, and speak; a boy becomes a pool toy turtle but with his real head; a boy becomes his dog's chew toy; a girl becomes an inanimate sand statue that breaks away because of the ocean tide. So basically all these kids are dead, except for the boy with the holes, the whoopie cushion girl, and the turtle boy, but they are basically freaks who can barely live now. I am surprised parents haven't complained yet.

Marriage Ref: Thank You Gwen!

Gwen Paltrow appeared on the show "Marriage Ref" with Jerry Seinfeld and Greg Giraldo, who is made fun of all the time on Comedy Central Roasts and only exclusively appears on Comedy Central. Jerry and Greg couldn't stop making fun, saying that the husband (The Rodriguezes of South Beach) is gay. They wouldn't stop making the jokes. Thank you, Gwen for stopping them. She put it wonderfully. She says that they should stay with the problem at hand. Oh god, even Seinfeld repeated his dumb line from his old show Seinfeld, "Not that there's nothing wrong with that."

Seinfeld did address Bones Rodriguez, which didn't understand what he was trying to say, trying to ask him if he was gay. 'Delicious.' Bones really turned it around that saying Greg was effeminate himself. The host was real good, saying what real men. Bones made it really funny. I think the real problem was what is considered feminine and masculine. Bones handled it very well! Kudos to Gwen and Bones. And Greg and Jerry should just avoid the topic all together and Greg should really STOP lisping.

South Park 201 Censorship

Last night that '201' aired, Muhammed was bleeped and I thought it was Comedy Central but when entire speeches of Kyle, Jesus and Santa were bleeped out, I then thought that it was on purpose by Matt and Trey as a meta-joke. I thought it as well as Muhammed was covered by CENSORED bar and then Tom Cruise was. But actually it was Comedy Central after all.

According to the website South Park Studios, Comedy Central censored episode "201" after delivery with bleeps as a reaction to several threats made on Parker and Stone's life by New York-based organization Revolution Muslim. The censored version bleeps out any mention of the word 'Muhammed', as well as entire speeches given by Kyle, Jesus and Santa at the end of the episode--I personally thought this was a meta-joke. The episode isn't officially available online (as of Thrusday 22nd) because the studio doesn't have network clearance to show the unedited version.

New episodes of South Park are usually re-aired at least three times on Comedy Central: Wednesday original airing at midnight, then at 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, and at 11:00 p.m. Sunday. Instead of episode "201", the network re-aired "The Tale of Scrotie McBoogerballs" at 12AM, and according to Comedy Central's TV schedule, it will be re-aired Thursday night. The network will also re-air "You Have 0 Friends" on Sunday instead of episode "201".

On the afternoon of April 22 the creators posted this statement to media outlets:
"In the 14 years we’ve been doing South Park we have never done a show that we couldn’t stand behind. We delivered our version of the show to Comedy Central and they made a determination to alter the episode. It wasn’t some meta-joke on our part. Comedy Central added the bleeps. In fact, Kyle’s customary final speech was about intimidation and fear. It didn’t mention Muhammad at all but it got bleeped too. We’ll be back next week with a whole new show about something completely different and we’ll see what happens to it."

Episode Summary:
We are treated with a flashback of Mitch Connor (as Cartman's hand) in the Vietnam War. Back in the present, Mr. Garrison sends Cartman to Dr. Mephisto to find out who is his father. Meanwhile, the Gingers and the town citizens are negotiating the handover of Muhammad when Mecha-Streisand begins to attack South Park. Muhammad, who is visually obscured throughout the entire episode by a black box superimposed with the word "Censored", is taken by Stan, Kyle, and Kenny to Dr. Mephisto's lab. There, the Gingers make their way into the lab and retrieve Muhammad. They agree to share Muhammad with the celebrities in exchange for the use of the celebrities' "goo transfer" machine, and give Cartman over to the "head ginger" Scott Tenorman in Batman villain style. Scott reveals to Cartman that his own father Jack, a former Denver Broncos player whom Cartman killed and put in chili, also fathered Cartman, making Scott and Cartman half-brothers.

Tom Cruise transfers Muhammad's "goo" and gets the "Censored" box and Cruise declares himself immune to ridicule. After neutralizing Mecha-Streisand (by having her sing with Neil Diamond), the Super Best Friends attack the Ginger lair, where the Gingers and celebrities are fighting over who will get the goo next. Super Best Friend member Seaman scuffles with Cruise, causing Stan to say that "Tom Cruise has Seaman on his back." The "Censored" box disappears and Cruise becomes angered that the "goo" is not working. Tenorman escapes, and Kyle says that "there is no goo" and that "I learn something today." He, Jesus, and Santa Claus all give monologues that appease the squabbling parties, though continuous audio bleeps prevent the viewer from hearing the contents of each speech.

The town begins to rebuild after the Streisand attack. Cartman is grieving over the fact that he has just learned he is "half ginger", but Connor makes him feel better by reminding Cartman that he is also "half Bronco". Cruise is still dejected, and wishes he could go somewhere to live without fear of mockery. Stan and Kyle reveal that they know such a place and will help Cruise get there. (Making the viewer believe it is Marklar.) The episode ends with a static image of Cruise and the Killer Whale from "Free Willzyx" both lying dead on the Moon. The episode had almost major character except for probably Towelie and Lemmiwinks. Pip even gets killed by Mecha-Streisand.
