Did I just hear 'Pussy Motherfuckers' in Daily Show?

Samantha Bee's 'Asshole' got bleeped but when they showed news footage of Wisconsin protesters and he said 'Pussy Motherfuckers' and it did not get bleeped. Wisconsin is upset about a recall that the vote stayed with the same guy.

Yay! Daily Show to an African-American Woman Correspodent

I welcome Jessica Williams to the Daily Show... could this be their first female African-American correspondent? They have had only two African-American men like Wyatt Cenac and Larry Wilmore and Wilmore (now a contributor) only joined in 2006 and Cenac in 2008.

Strike One Jon Stewart for the Gays

Jon Stewart has always been pro-gay and more progressive about LGBT issues and being a New York citizen, he is more intune with things. But just saying Michelle Bauchmann's husband Markus dancing 'gay' like and is Anti-Gay (with a born-again gay-away therapy), he gets Jerry Seinfeld to help him. But I think it had to do more about comedy and making fun of people. But Seinfeld, who judges men if they are effeminate, evidence by The Marriage Ref. It is ironic, or coincidental or hilarious that Jon is acting like Seinfeld on the Marriage Ref and Seinfeld is actually logic. Is it because it was written for Jerry or does he really feel that way? Because he did go 'blue' on the Marriage Ref, judging a husband for being 'gay' and going for cheap stereotypes. The bit between Jon and Jerry was pretty good. They actually dealt with not going for the 'obvious' stereotype, that Markus' dancing was effeminate and socially incorrectly believed to be 'gay.' Could Jon be intuitive enough to be comparing this behavior to Bauchmann's misuse of the word 'gay'?

PINK is a color!!!!

As usual, the Daily Show brought it up to me: J. Crew Ad Controversy: Boy with Pink Toenails. And of course everyone is freaking out and especially Keith Arlow, who Jon Stewart brings it up as the cover of his book with Glenn Beck looks like a same sex raising book. And it is true, it does. And like Jon says, a weekend with children gets boring. PINK IS JUST A FREAKIN COLOR, not a gender constitute. Just because a boy wears pink anywhere doesn't mean it will effect his psyche so much that it will determine his sexual identity or orientation. Now, yes in our culture pink is seen as a girl color. But it is just one little ad, it is not like a PSA or a goverment thing. And plenty of athletes have worn pink for Breast Cancer support to find the cure and no one has said bub-kiss.

Buffy Season 5 reference in Daily Show

Jon Stewart was mentioning Big Brother as the government last night's episode (December 14) and then decided they don't need a Big Brother but a Big Sister... in comes footage of the episode "Blood Ties" of Season 5 of Joss Whedon's "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" where Buffy beats up Glory for bothering her sister Dawn. 'Big Brother' is a reference to the novel 1984 (written in 1949 by the way) by "George Orwell" also known as Eric Arthur Blair. For those to young to know, 1984 is about the future as it was written 1949 where the government, or Big Brother would gave the public no privacy at all or freedom. Kudos to Jon and crew to reference Joss' Buffy.

Mick Foley on Daily Show

Mick Foley, formerly of WWE, appeared protecting this boy, threatening anyone that would tease him an call him a 'gaywad.' I would hear 'gaywad' a lot too but I do not know what it is. The boy refuses to stand up for the Pledge of Allegiance until gay people can marry---equal for all anyone? A substitute teacher prodded him to stand up. I am a substitute teacher and I would not force a kid to stand up if she or he really believed in something ethical. Most cases for me is that if they didn't stand up is because they lie and don't want to stand up. Yay to the Kid! More power to him and yay to his parents! And more power and wa-hoo! to Mr. Mick Foley.

Daily Show: Fox News is Liberal

Fox News are so evil, they are hypocrites. According to their own rules on what a Liberal is---they are the media, that they are against the president during war time and that they complain all the time. Well, Jon Stewart has brought to our intention that Fox News has done all those things and according to them, they are #1 media. They are such blowhards. Saying 'liberals' or the left wings are pushing their agenda. Fox News is all about their agenda. Bill O' Reilly says he doesn't call protesters as loons and in 2004, he said it himself. And then their counter-argument to Jon Stewart all the time is that anyone can point things out if they do 24 hour news network. Um, if you are television reporters, you better stand by what you are saying. Don't come off all high and mighty. And yes, I'm just a blogger. Thank you for stating the obvious. The Shoe is on the other foot!

Yay! John Stewart defending Gay Marriage against Huckabee

John Stewart was tough on Mike Huckabee over his book saying that everyone is equal. He compared it and asked if Hispanic people shouldn't vote, he said they should vote and then he asked why gay people can't marry. Mike Huckabee brought up marriage not changing since bible days, John Stewart brought up that marriage has evolved, it used to that men could marry many women and women were considered as property. Mike Hukabee said that marriage is about having a penis and a vagina in order to make babies. What he said was often: Religion is more of a choice than being gay; that Religion is a lifestyle! Awesome! "Semantics is cold comfort when it comes to humanity." Mike Huckabee brought up one good point that just because you are against gay marriage doesn't mean that you are homophobe or filled with hate. John Stewart brought up the good point that he standing behind his wall of institution and not bringing up a good reason. Why? Why? Thank you, John. You got it. And funny enough, I still don't find you sexy. I think you would consider that a compliment!

Palin Rant

I took my friend's advice and watched "The View." She watches it for Whoopie Goldberg but she was sick and was not there yesterday. But Bill O' Reily was there and Joy was on fire. I love Joy. They were talking about how Palin talks about being a regular joe, but she was given a big budget to dress 'up.' Also how she used tax payers' money for trips for her daughter and tried to change it. John Stewart compared one of her red jackets to Michael Jackson's "Thriller" jacket, like if she bought it off eBay. The other day Mr. Stewart got mad at Palin for her referring to liberal lefties as 'fake Americans.' The chicks at the View also mentioned Palin being the 'bulldog' and just attacking Obama but not really saying what she will do as vice-president. My dad said it made sense since her lipstick remark. John also demands to know who she is. We know so little about her, but now we are getting flood of information like "Trooper-Gate," her daughter's baby, the rest of her family, her wardrobe budget, etc.

I just don't want our country to be divided anymore.

Conan and the war wih Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert

First of all, I didn't expect this. I watched "A Daily Show with John Stewart," it started tonight (Monday February 4, 2008) with "A Daily Show with John Stewart" at 11pm on Comedy Central. I am sure the episode will repeat all day tomorrow at 10am, 2pm, and 8pm. Stephen came on the show and explained about the rivalry, something about who birthed who. Then Conan came up behind them and challenged them both to a fight. John explained he had to finish his show. When the show was finished, John went to the hall to only find Conan. Stephen had already gone to do his show. They continued walking the hall. When the Colbert Report ended, Stephen ran to the hall to only find John. Conan had supposedly gone to his show. They go over to the door and it is locked. So it is midnight and I tune to NBC and they are running promos of their brawl, the three dancing and fighting, one of them being knocked into a stack of boxes.

Now, on the Conana show, during the time he is at his desk after the monologue, he recaps the whole feud. Colbert steps in and then John like a cronie. They then snap fingers like those Jets from Westside Story. Than Conan brings out his bat. In the hall, John looks at the bat and hits Conan. They battle comically and John accidentally hits John, so he puts a recycling bin on John and Conan hits him with his bat. Later on, Stephen and Conan throw John down the stairs. John and Stephen throw Conan at the boxes. Then Conan and John throw Stephen down the stairs. They fight some more. Later, the CC boys supposedly throw Conan down but it was his stunt double. They continue fighting and then mimic Rocky and their fists come at each other. Then Mike Huckabee makes a speech, saying 'forget these three idiots.'

NOTE: Highlights of it were shown during the 'Moment of Zen' of Tuesday's 'A Daily Show.'

Daily Show and Colbert Report return January 7!

Stephen Colbert on "The Daily Show"

One wouldn't imagine Stephen Colbert being on "The Daily Show" a big deal a few years ago, since h was a member/anchor for the show. But tonight, since his show The Colbert Report--which has been on the air for about 2 years, he returned---being carted by Uncle Sam (Justin, who works on their show). He gave high fives to everyone like on his show and Jon said he had an announcement. They showed clips of him denying presidential candidacy. Stephen handed John a card to ask him if he was running. It was hilarious, he brought out a stack of hay to put his feet on and a beer.

John says Uncle Sam was Justin, I am guessing it is Justin Melkmann, a segment producer.

Tony Snow on the Daily Show

Tony Snow on the Daily Show? Whaaaaa???! Jon Stewart always makes fun of what he says, I would think Tony would stay away from the show, like let's say Bush but much like the Straight-talker, he goes on the show and tries to be Mr. Cool. Yes, I understand that if let's say a guest or host on a comedy show will be made fun of---it is the way things are, but to me, I'm like, not be kissing ass and then talk shit behind their back. Because it isn't behind their back, they can just tune in and see it. In the case of Jon Stewart and Tony Snow, Jon is trying to understand the government people and Tony, well, he was not being a dick. But, Jon was sort of because he would stick on to "Bush doesn't make sense." It gets a bit old.

Jon continues with his jokes and Tony was actually understanding, he wasn't on his 'agenda'... well too much. I mean, yeah he was on his agenda sometimes but not completely. Tony did say, 'no' a lot. He says that the show has a knack to find funny stuff they say---but hello! It's not that hard. Jon's analogy of 'making a sweater out of puppies' sounds like something I would say. Tony pulled away, said 'oh no' and put his face in his hands. It was like he was sticking with middle America, to say he doesn't approve of the joke. Most of middle America, Bush-supporters or old stick-in-the-middle are fuddy duddies and think that is too far. For me, it isn't. Jon says that he respects Tony as a person... Is that true? Well, you cna make fun of someone you respect but not as much as he has. Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't. I did get the sense that they do agree in some forms.

Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert Skit

Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert's little banter felt a little forced (it seemed they had to remember their lines) but they have the chemistry like always. It was funny. They were talking something about saving the earth, green and waste. Carbon credit? Seeing Steven Carrell, Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart was priceless.

Rob Cordry back on the "Daily Show"

Yay! He made a cameo tonight September 10 making elicit gay sex in restroom jokes.

Big Ups to Jon Stewart

On tonight's (August 14, 2007) episode of "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," Jon covered a special show on the Logo network with the Democratic presidential candidates and Melissa Etheridge as the host. When one of the candidates (forget his name, the fat one) said being gay was a choice, he called him 'crazy' and overall made it into even a question. It was more about if the dude understood the question or not. And also did a hilarious dirty joke montage which he discribe it himself childish. That is what is great about Jon and the show, they are aware of their childishness. And it is not even an issue that the show is pro-gay, it is not even an issue. He finds the truth. He makes lays out the idiots for who they are. It is beyond pro-gay, they are not afraid of saying the truth. He makes an analogy of if the candidates was upfront about being pro-gay or catering to the GLBT issues, with clips from the movie Caddishack. Surprisingly David Kucinich made a hole in one, but it made that gopher puppet come out. Anyhoo, yay Stewart!

I found this pic just perfect for this.

Also on the subject of Presidential Candidates and GLBT issues, in the August 13 article ["Show 'Em Whatcha Got"] of Newsweek by Jonathan Dorman, brings to light that some candidates are 'okay' with GLBT community but don't talk about with mainstream society. For example, Clinton didn't speak up in congress by marriage, voted but didn't speak up.

Daily Show: Another new set, another day

'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart' has changed their set every so often and fans shout their outcry and Jon listens. When 'Colbert Report' started, the Daily Show got a new set. Probably because Stephen Colbert adopted the old set. And as soon as they changed, they got complaints. John called it 'post-modern surrealist neo-existential waiting for Gaduo fake news show and it just felt not of place and not inclusive. Not pretentious but it just didn't fit with the show. But, I did get used to it.

Colbert called the new set 'Mid-period Brockhaw meets Couric-contemporary with a little bit of the U.S.S. Enterprise. On Tuesday's episode, he revealed a new feature--the head of Brian Williams, hilariously enough. Now, it so happens I don't like the new one, its more of the same. They just have to go simple.

Applaud to Al Jazeera English for having a sense of humor

Great kudos to Al Jazeera English, the new network in the United States for having a sense of humor and letting the Daily Show's Samantha Bee toy with them. She came into the newsroom and played music at them, pepped up (or Americanize) the graphics and change up the teleprompter. She had the muslim-sounding female newsanchor change her name to 'Peppermint Sanchez' and have the screen look like Fox News and had the dialog be along the lines.. "Anyhoo.. let's found out which celebrity lost their panties."

Happy Feet: Hidden Gay Agenda?

Soon news host or whatever Michael Medved claims Happy Feet ha a hidden gay agenda just because the main character seeks acceptance. But Lewis Black (Daily Show) argues that Bambi, Simba, Wilbur, etc. all wanted to same. Funny. So people, grow up. Why does it have to be gay if the character is looking for acceptance? The only thing gay about the movie was the old dumb penguins.

Kick in the balls: Rob Riggle super employed

You might have heard because of budget cuts Horatio Sanz and Finesse Mitchell, Chris Parnell and Rachel Dratch are out of Saturday Night Live. Yet, 'who's that?' unibrow king Rob Riggle is staying and even appearing on The Daily Show! I saw him on the September 20th episode. It seems that he is only staying on SNL because he was in the same Improv group as Amy Poehler.

Also, since Tina Fey won't be on the show anymore for Weekend Update, Seth Meyers will co-anchor with Amy Poehler though he won't be able to do anymore sketches. Aww. I'll miss his fine ass.
