Eric Millegan Eye Candy

I was watching Fox's Bones with Angel David Boreanaz and the Zooey Duschanel's sister and noticed a character by the name of Zack and thought the guy was a girl. I felt bad, like I was judgmental or homophobic. He sounds like a girl. His name is Eric Millegan and he is a openly gay man. He is cute and incredibly talented.

Another segment of 'Is it Me?'

Sure Rochell D. Thomas has her 'Is it Just Me?' section in TV Guide but I have so many gripes that I decided to clump them together.

In the new movie Black Christmas, is it just me or does Michelle Trachtenberg look Latina? Not in that particular picture but in the trailer. Also, the deep voice over guy for the trailer is overselling this 'people are offended' crap, it ain't on the news, Christians care more about people saying 'Happy Holidays' at Wal-Mart than a scary movie that happens to open on Christ's birthday.

Saturday Night Live has recently introduced new recurring characters to the Weekend Update segment: the gay New Jersey Couple protrayed by the 'He is no Andy Samberg' Bill Hader and 'The Ain't he gay? Chris Kattan-type' Fred Armisen. Now, is this a joke poking fun at gay people or is this a highly intellegent social commentary that just anyone can be gay even the supposedly macho New Jersey Italian-Americans? Now, they sure are adorable and great choice of matching them together.

Isn't Mistletoe overrated for Christmas? Check out the article. Mistletoe resembles sperm and thats why we kiss under it. Now we just accept that we must kiss under it, it is just an excuse. I rather question these traditions, well some that have just became traditions are laughable like disliking Fruit Cakes. Supposedly when people give fruit cakes, the reciever don't like it. Well us Latinos never give each other Fruit Cakes and they are actually expensive here in Miami. When my mom was given one, she loved it and wouldn't stop eating it.

The Sharkman is CUBAN??!!

The 52-year old self-acclaimed 'Sharkman' who has essentially become part of the Jackass crew who has been in the first movie, 'Wildboyz', 'Extreme Contact', 'Deep Diver' and his own MTV's 'Diary' happens to be cuban. I thought he was a total gringo, totally surprised me.

He lives in Miami, my hometown. I saw him on El Vacilon con Enrique y Joe on MegaTV and thought to myself, "Would he understand all this 'regaton' stuff?' and then I listened in and he was freaking speaking Spanish. Well I'd be a monkey's uncle, well I am a uncle.

He sure is as dangerous in vain of the Crocodile Hunter but the Wildboyz sure beat him. He looks normal compare to them.

Lisa Kudrow a riot on American Dad!

Lisa Kudrow played the Ghost of Chirstmas Past who was once the Tooth Fairy and had to teach Stan Smith about the true meaning of Christmas. Knowing how Stan is, stuff came up on American Dad. Lisa was fantastic and hiralous. First she started with an proper accent then she snapped out to her regular accent.

Characters from TV to Comics

Usually comic book characters are the ones adpated to Television, Movies, etc. but sometimes some characters will outshine and are worth being printed on paper and carrying on in the canon universe. Starting with the Batman the Animated Series back in 1992, Hayley Quinn capatured audiences as a female sidekick to the Joker. There were female sidekicks to the Joker in the 70's on television but Harley is much more fleshed out and adored. She transitioned to comics in the Graphic Novel based on the cartoon 'Mad Love' that went to animation, about her origin. She was a psychiatrist that worked at the Arkham Asylum where the Joker was interacted in and he slowly had his touch on her and then the rest is history. On the animated series, she slowly began being paired with Posion Ivy, mostly when she had a fallng out with Joker. She has since been in all other forms such as dolls, video games, the short-lived Birds of Prey TV series, and season four of The Batman.

Most or all of the characters that have went from television to comic books have been female. Others including Firestar from my favorite series growing up Spider-man and his Amazing Friends. She originated there supposedly being a former X-Men but then later in-continuity comic books such as the Uncanny X-Men, The Warriors, The New Avengers and other Spider-Man related comics.

As from Batman Animated Series, Rene Montoya police officer who has recently been linked romantically to Batwoman.

Recently X-23, Wolverine's clone (not Morrow!) who originated in X-Men: Evolution.

Mercy Graves, Lex Luthor's hot female bodyguard from the Animated series of Superman. In the comic book she has appeared along with Hope, another hired muscle. When the witch Circe attempted to visit Lex Luthor at the White House, Hope and Mercy attempt to stop her by saying that they could always recognize her, denoting previous familiarity, which the Amazons in the Wonder Woman comic have. Although Hope's time as a LexCorp employee has passed, Mercy can still be seen with the fugitive Lex Luthor.

Lastly but not least, as recent as the beginniung of 2006 Lori Petty's villianess. The Animated universe has been known as the DCAU, her comic character is similar and she also has disdain for Billy Batson--Captain Marvel.
