Lots of people don't believe me but different countries and languages don't agree on how to spell the onomatopoeia of the sound animals make. It is spelled differently depending on the language, also by the interpenetration of languages. Most animals make the same sound but it depends on the person listening to it. It could also be that the pets adapt to the language around them.
