Alyssa Milano in a multi-camera sitcom? No!

Alyssa Milano deserves better! April 19, 2010 is the premiere is "Romantically Challenged," a new soon-to-be-canceled traditional multi-camera sitcom. Even the promo advertising on it on ABC says she is "Who's the Boss." Lame. Even when ABC has success from single-camera family sitcoms, Alyssa deserve better to have a single-camera sitcom or drama. It would have been better if Alyssa was in a original sitcom (not the single-lady formula that has failed for so long on so many networks) or even guest-starred on Cougartown, she would be so funny on that show. Am I pre-judging this show with just watching one promo, without watching the whole series yet, but HELLO, I am a blogger, I am single, twenty-something living in my parent's house, it's what I do!

23rd Nick Kids Choice Awards 2010

I haven't seen the Kids Choice Awards for years. When the Teens Choice Awards came out, I wasn't a teenager anymore. But now that I am a substitute teacher and having a little nephew, I am getting into watching Nick and Disney again. As you know, there is rivalry between the two channels, but they say there isn't anymore. It was interesting to see who has won and who doesn't. For best show, there was three nominees that were Disney shows (Life on Deck, Wizards of Waverly Place and Sonny with a Chance) and iCarly---and iCarly won. And for best male actor, Dylan Spruce of Disney won and all nominees for it were from Disney (his twin brother and the Jonas Brothers). Not seeing the show in a long time, it hasn't changed much since I was a kid (early 90's), I still can't understand what the heck anyone is saying, it is really loud and somewhat dis-organized production wise. I suppose it is because of the involvement of children.

And what happen to Katy Perry? She clearly was acting crazy or was doing drugs. She was acting plastic. She came out to announce with Jonah Hill, whose real birthday is December, said he was born without a birthday. Katy ended up getting slimed! Yes! For ripping-off Lady Gaga. Then proceeded to hug Jonah and cry, saying it taste like barf. Jonah was funny in saying the Winner was Precious, no, it was Miley Cyrus--who didn't want to be hugged by Katy. I am really bummed Hannah is getting a 4th season, I was happy it was finally being canceled. I think the host instead of Kevin James, should have been Freddie and Sam from iCarly, they were really good at performing and keept the audience controlled when showing something about an Ultimate Dance-Off or something. Tina Fey's banter with Steve Carrel was labored (I don't think she wrote it) and she could have written something better. Steve definitely got slimed more than Tina, she probably got into it.

For those kids reading this, The Big Help, that has been revived for the Haiti Earthquake and an award for Michelle Obama, Big Help was a big 8-hour event that started in 1994, it went on for about 7 or 8 years. It took up the whole Nickelodeon channel for a day and it had lots of celebrities. It was great, I would call on a special phone number and hear a Nicktoon character thank for the call. The Big Help was for environmentalism and caring for the community.

Project Runway Seven Episode 9 Review

I can't believe Anthony has been kicked out! I think Maya should have won. But I wasn't crazy about her print, but did like her outfit. I didn't know who to kick out, they were all awesome. I think it was a waste that Emilio won. But was thinking Emilio should have been kicked out, or at least Jonathan. I was feeling Jonathan's print but it just wasn't right for this challenge. And the vest was literally a straitjacket, but Michael Kohrs sure is catty. With Emilio, it's like with Irina from last season, that she was a bitch and got praise from the judges.

The Office - I love how Oscar wants to hook up

On the latest "The Office," I love how Oscar wants to hook up with one of the warehouse guys, Matt. It is funny. Good. So Oscar orchestrates a Happy Hour get-together to get to know Matt. So the whole office comes down. He asks Darryl to set it up, Darryl tells him 'to be gay with Matt, but straight with him.' Pam tried to set them up in the X-Mas party when she found out Matt was gay.

Peter Dinklage plays gay character in Death At a Funeral

Frank Oz directs a remake of the British 2007 film Death At a Funeral, the majority of the film is mostly African-American except for James Marsden (Enchanted)--who does a nude scene under what was thought to be Valium--husband to Zoe Saldana (Avatar), Luke Wilson (Old School) and Peter Dinklage (Station Agent). Peter Dinklage wants 30 thousand dollars or he will show incriminating photos. One funny line that Chris Rock says to Martin Lawrence, who plays his brother: "Our father was bromantically involved with a guy who could fit in his pocket and you are mad because he's white?!" Peter Dinklage was in the original film, his character was named Peter, while in this he is Frank but essentially it is the same role. Both trailers have the same jokes! Only the original one had Peter and the dad was Trojans and the new one has them as soldiers. And it was Dollhouse's Alan Tudyk in the nude on the roof.

Will Get What's Coming to him

Anthony Defalle, 20 (above), found Raymond Barkey, 59, dead in his Dania Beach apartment and instead of notifying authorities, he and two others walk around the corpse to steal his truck, guns and other property. He has been caught but the other two and the truck have yet to be retrieved. He is definitely getting what is coming to him, because he is a looker and you know what happens in jail.

Cougartown New Names

Cougartown is planning to change its show title. I think they should. They think they draw away audience members. Jules no longer is a cougar, well, she doesn't really date young men all the time.

Potential Names I would choose:
Florida Town
Summertown
Unlikely Friends Town
Divorced but not alone
Chatty Town
Not Friends
Not Dirt

The Hurt Locker WON!

Hurt Locker won six of nine Oscars! Including Best Director and Best Picture! I am happy a repeat of Titanic didn't happen with Avatar. Everyone who won deserved it! Congrats! Also congrats to Mo'nique for her Best Supporting Actress win.

Oscar 82nd Opening Number

Why tease us with Neil Patrick Harris, with a really awesome opening number with original lyrics. He was a sparkling black tuxedo and held up by two dapper men. The real hosts Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin were lowered from above. NPH was great.

Project Runway Season Seven Episode 7 Review

The challenge was to make a fashion-forward outfit made from materials from a hardware store.

Mila's was okay, but it was a bit too obvious. It was beautiful but Jay really deserved to win. I like that she mixed it up, that it was layered and detailed.

Maya's accessory was great, she really worked really hard on it and thought it through. I liked her black armor thingy. I wasn't crazy about the color of the dress but the whole outfit looked awesome. Maya now stands out as a definite contender.

Jay's outfit was stunning. It did not look it was made of trash bags. He did a great job. I loved the colors. He deserved to win. They have seen garbage bags before on the show, that is true. He is the only successful one.

Emilio's outfit was horrible, there was no taste. He was so stuck-up in not using materials like the others and when he had to return half the stuff, he should have got something else. Because what he ended up with was tasteless and tacky. I mean, if he had the time and talent, he would've done something awesome. Emilio is all talk. I don't think Jesse should have been one of the bottom two, it should have been Anthony. Anthony held back. I am going for Anthony, he's great but poor Jesse. Jesse is such a cutie. What? Jesse out?!!! Emilio should have been out! WTF! Crazy. Jesse did not deserve it. I agree with Jesse's frustration. I think it is because Jesse (he has been in the bottom 3 two times) didn't win before. Emilio won the first one, and was once on the top three.

Same-Sex Marriage Legalized in D.C.

My grandma called me this morning very excited to tell me that 'Washington' has legalized same-sex marriage, well she said it 'you can get married now.' In actuality, it is Washington, D.C. They have repelled a block to gay marriage, meaning no block, so now it is legal.
