Conoan First Episode Review

Waiting for this forever and the promos form TBS are awesome. Conan addressed a lot of questions in his monologue, saying his old characters being used on NBC. They did a hilarious video of the masturbating Bear being used for lottery numbers. Glad to see him back. I am also glad Andy Ritcher is his co-host or whatever back. His new set isn't as glamorous as his Tonight Show set, it is a bit retro, as it looks like a round bee hive. It will take some time to get used to. I do miss when he did his monologue in front of his curtain, long ago on the Late Show. Glad to see the band back, but no Max. :( His set does have a moveable moon with remote control and moving moon light.

Conan-Leno joke too late in 30 Rock 'Khonani'

Jack has to choose between two women and decides to concentrate on a Janitor situation instead, procrastinating but it is much like he's first situation. Anyhoo, one janitor wanted the night shift because he has a contract with Jack since 2005--clearly like Conan. And the other guy, got his shift moved at 10, like Leno. And in the end, the Conan janitor had to be fired, he said he was okay he had to go to Fox Casino. Um... they should have said TBS. I guess they filmed this before the decision was made.

Conan moves to TBS; Very Funny.

Disappointing Comedy Central and Adult Swim, Conan picks TBS over those channels for a spot in cable. Not only that but choosing it over FOX. "In three months I've gone from network television to Twitter to performing live in theaters, and now I'm headed to basic cable," O'Brien said in a statement. "My plan is working perfectly." The currently untitled one-hour show, which will be produced in Los Angeles, will debut in November at 11/10c after the World Series, and will air Monday through Thursday. It will be followed by George Lopez's Lopez Tonight, which currently airs in the timeslot and has averaged more than 1.2 million viewers for its first season. I am glad the Lopez Tonight's light will go back,. it makes sense, since it is the only cable network to have a late night talk show (well there is Chelsea Lately but that's anti-celebrity).

Fox plans to put Conan O'Brien on FX

Fox executives are planning to put Conan O'Brien on Fox's cable station FX, Conan hosting a four-night-a-week show. They will then air a show made up of the four shows on Saturday, most likely on the Wanda Sykes spot at 11. It is rumored that, "News Corp. chairman Rupert Murdoch will have a hard time resisting an attack on NBC's Tonight Show with the host they turned away." Because just putting Conan on FOX is not easy. It doesn't make sense money-wise for News Corp and Twentieth Century Fox. The local affiliates have syndicated shows at 11pm, which makes money for those companies since the majority of shows airing at that time are owned by Fox (like The Simpsons & Family Guy). Taking the time on FX would allow Fox to convince their affiliates. Meanwhile, they would have to figure out what to do with Wanda Sykes, who has a late night show at the 11 p.m. timeslot on Fox.

Conan's show up in the air!

Jay Leno is on track to retake the helm of "The Tonight Show" - and Conan O'Brien could be gone by next week, according to two new reports. The moves would solve NBC's late-night woes, restoring Leno to 11:35 p.m. in his old hour-long slot. O'Brien's staunch opposition to a plan to move him as "Tonight Show" host to 12:05 a.m. has made Leno's return all but inevitable, insiders said.

Conan and Ritcher spoke of what he can do afterwards:
He will now take any job it can offer: “You want me on one of those celebrity rehab shows? You name the drug, and I will get hooked on it tomorrow.” Conan, meanwhile, took the liberty of thinking up titles for the porno he’s been asked to star in based on his battle with NBC.
