Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex

I love Wizards of Waverly Place. The show ended and Selena Gomez has 'grown up.' Disney announced a sequel film, but I thought it was going to be like the Wizards movie that was 2 hours (with breaks) but no, it jut like the TV show, it is just a special. It is an one hour TV special with those annoying laugh tracks. The movie version had no laugh tracks. In this special, Justin Russo (David Henrie) is not present. Selena plays two different Alexes, which gets bad when Mason has to do a choice between the two and picks the wrong one in an uninspired cliche moment, which is a bit unlike Wizards. Also superhunk Beau Mirchoff (Desperate Housewives and Awkward) plays the lead villain but is not shirtless though the whole thing, he has nice abs. Even AUstin gets shirtless in Austin and Ally and he is under 18. Anyway, it was a good effort but I wish it was longer, had a bigger budget and didn't have that annoying laugh track, didn't Selena deserve better?

I am back from the dead. Wow, I took 3 months to post something new.  Well, this is nothing major, maybe old news but here is a list of hot gay brothers of celebrities.

 Scott Evans

Captain America Chris Evans' younger brother Scott is also an actor and was in the soap One Life to Live, playing a gay cop. He was born in 1983. They are 2 years apart.

 Michael Levine

Adam Levine's younger brother but not the youngest. The gaydom agree that he is hot.

Anne Hathaway's older brother is gay.
 

Eamon Farrell
Colin Farrell's brother. Colin Farrell brought his voice to Ireland's Stand Up! campaign against bullying.

The "True Blood" hunk Ryan Kwanten, who has been fiercely private about his own love life, spoke to The Advocate in 2010 about his gay brother Lloyd, who is a doctor.  


 

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alyson Hannigan as girlfriends to animated boys

 Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy) has done a lot of voice actor work in adult animated shows, especially as girlfriends that have effected the boys of the family.

 King of the Hill

"And They Call It Bobby Love" aired in 1998, of the third season of "King of the Hill." Marie was a vegan older girl that Bobby kissed and broke his heart. This aired during the height of Buffy popularity. I think this was a good episode.

 Simpsons

She played Gina in 'The Wandering Juvie" and recently reprise the role. She played a girl that Bart falls for in Juvie. It wasn't a good episode. This aired in 2004, after Buffy.

 American Dad
"Virtual In-Stanity" aired in 2011. She played an avatar that was really Stan, in order for his son Steve to have a girlfriend.

 In American Dad, Alyson Hannigan (Willow) also co-starred in the ep as the ignored Chelsea.

 King of the Hill
 In 2004, she played a character obsessed with Bobby in "Talking Shop."

 The Simpsons
In 2011, she played Melody who spends time with Bart because Skinner is into her mother played by Kristen Wigg in 2011 episode "Flaming Moe."

Flaws with Premise of Playing For Keeps

Gerard Butler plays a soccer player in Playing For Keeps (2012)----one of his nine upcoming projects and he is after one woman, 'the one that got away.' The problem is that the woman he is after is Jessica Biel, who is 30 years old. Gerard Butler will be 43 on November 13th. Gerard is 13 years older than Jessica. Jessica would had have like a 12 year span from being 18 to being 30 to have dated Gerard. When Jessica was 18, he was 31 approximately. I mean, it is not a leap but I find the premise hilarious. I mean, it is socially acceptable these days for an older man and younger woman. But there is a double standard with older women and younger men.

Homophobic elf in Rise of the Guardians?

 In the upcoming Dreamworks movie "Rise of the Guardians," a male elf kisses another male elf in the trailer. So the one that gets kissed, closes his eyes and punches the other away. Now this is of course out of context but still looks pretty bad. I would have to see the movie to see if the elf just doesn't like being kissed, but I am around kids a lot and they take a lot of trailers in as truth. Some can't afford to see the movie, and only see the trailer commercials. And many kids hit each other. Maybe I am taking this too seriously.

Jem 2012 Dolls at $135!

 Maybe I am a month late but here it is, what we have been waiting for. And wow! Awesome work! They are releasing three dolls but they are for $135. But they are fully poseable! These are soooo made for collectors, it is not even funny. 

 We got Jerrica, who can turn into Jem. I am surprise Pizzazz is not part of this group because they did release Halloween costumes of her.

 Rio is so hot! And they have him in show-accurate clothing, which is not available before. Even with mundane cream and brown colors, he still looks so handsome!

 Synergy has show-accurate clothes and looks fabulous! Who is synergy? She was the computer that made Jerrica into Jem!

At the SDCC 2012, this Hollywood Jem was revealed. Pre-orders are sold out!
