When it was announced Temple Grandin won for best miniseries, two men kissed and the camera tired to moved away from it, but we saw two men kissing on live television!
Explaining the title: I am forty-something Latino who has a fondness for the Japanese culture and speak Spanglish--Spanish and English. Some people say "Span-English" so I mixed it with "Engrish," which is how some Japanese pronounce English.

How is Bucky Gunts Funny?
Both Ricky Garvis and this guy online thought Bucky Gunts was not real and cannot be said on television. What does Bucky Gunts mean? What is the joke here? What is the slang term? Explain it to me?
Bucky Gunts is the director of "Vancouver 2010: XXI Olympic Winter Games."

Eric Stonestreet winning an Emmy
Three real gay men (NPH, Chris Colfer, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and three gay roles (Glee and Modern Family) for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy at the Emmys and Eric Stonestreet ("Modern Family") won. Funny enough, when Betty White and John Hamm said the names, they took a while to say Eric's name and he looked sad and it looked like he didn't he would win It was a pleasant surprise. Jesse was crying. His speech was touching. Congrats Eric!!!!
Comcast Channels
Hiya, I was disappointed that a few months ago regular Comcast channel users (not digital cable) lost TruTV, History Channel and Cartoon Network. But now because in mid-September Comcast will be needing everyone to use Digital. So now we got these digital converters, and I got those channels back! Including Oxygn and Hallmark, which we lost last year thanks to the channels themselves. I even got G4, which I've been hearing about for five years and never gotten to see. But I am disappointed I don't have Logo and Nicktoons, I've wanted Logo for years since it is a gay network and also Nicktoons, since Power Rangers will be airing on Nicktoons in October.

Project Runway Episode Review Teams
There were two teams: the Underdogs and the one out of the majority of winners and the self-proposed good ones. Six in each team. The loosing team (Team Luxe) was very bland and vanilla, how Kohrs said. Gretchen took over the team. I did like how she stood by and said that there was no weak link. When before she said Michael C. was the weak link. The proportions were bad and it all looked uniformed. Gretchen said she was going to double-back but she did, she back stabbed. Hilarious. They all picked on Michael, as they were repeatedly told that they couldn't take Michael home, that only of the 5. They ALL were jealous of Michael, and still didn't understand why he won last time. The judges really liked Michael's design last time. The judges thought it was because of his immunity. They don't know EVERYONE thinks Michael is weak. The biggest problem of the group was that they didn't do each outfit, they worked on different pieces. It was all confusing. The second problem is that the six have their big egos, so its hard to work together.
As for the winning team, the colors were awesome and it is so funny that Casanova won (I think he did deserve it), when he had a big drama queen moment and was doubting himself. He was brought back by his model. I think it was good they worked seperately on their own outfits, but had the common theme and accessories, that really went together. It was great they 'stepped it up a notch,' when I first saw this group, I honestly said out-loud that they were losers but they proved themselves, tremendously. They really had no leader and worked together. Peach did make a bit of conflict, but I think she was really nervous and brought it out. I liked the use of Spanish in this season, I think past seasons have avoided showing designers speaking Spanish.

Two Gay people in Blackberry Commercial
In this recent Blackberry commercial that is playing a lot, there are two gay men that seem to have an Interior Design company in West Hollywood . One of them sport a very retro-queer mustache. What do you think Most responses on YouTube have been positive. I think it is very forward thinking and I like how (even if they are real people or actors playing characters) they are showing feminine gay people that aren't meant to be caractures. Yes, the mustache is a bit much but faces need to be out there, to show the whole rainbow spectrum of gay people. Butch, fem, everything.
Praying to the Virgin Mary in "Devil" Trailer
In the trailer (TV commercial version) for the thriller movie Devil, we hear a Hispanic security guard praying in Spanish. This a prayer to the Virgin Mary, I grew up Catholic, I had to learn that one and the one to the lord himself. It is also known as The Night Chronicles: Devil and it was written by Brian Nelson and directed by Drew Dowdle and John Erick Dowdle. Couldn't find the video on youtube.
Here it is:
Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death, Amen.
Jennifer Aniston playing the same thing
The Switch (Jennifer Aniston's new movie with Jason Bateman) premiered at Number 8 in the box office! Now Entertainment Tonight was asking the question if the reason people might not want to watch the movie is because they believe she is playing the same character. The last Aniston movie I saw was The Good Girl. I find her movies bland and not interesting. The Switch, honestly I would find it more interesting if Aniston wasn't in it, maybe Anna Paquin or Scarlett Johansson. I don't hate Jennifer Aniston, but I think she should find a new stitch. She couldn't even act out of a paper bag in Courtney Cox's last show "Dirt" when she guest starred. The character was complex but Jennifer couldn't make heads or tales of it. The character I hated the most on "Friends" was Rachael, she was so annoying, she acted like she knew it all. Even though I couldn't stand either Ross or Rachael, I did like their romance. She did a good job in The Good Girl. Her movies weren't hits before "Friends" and I think the only reason she is still relevant is because she was once married to Brad Pitt.

Tough Girls on TV: 'Stay Off The Streets' not Believable
I have noticed a peculiar thing on Kids shows. The so-called 'Bad girls' that may have a future in jail. Alex Russo (Selena Gomez) of "Wizards of Waverly Place" is a mischievous minx but many characters on the show say that she has to 'stay off the streets' and she may have a future in jail or no job. Sam Puckett (Jennette McCurdy) is also seen as a bad girl, already been to Juvie, already knowing how much days you get if you hit a police officer and Carly having to fear canceling her show because Sam is in jail. But it doesn't ring true to me. Most 'bad' girls I have seen in real life as a substitute teacher are not exactly as caring as Sam and Alex or do exactly what these girls claim they do. If Sam really was doing what she said she would, I doubt she would be doing a web show. Or if she did and had a friend like Carly, I would believe she would stay off getting in jail. I know TV isn't always accurate, I don't know, it just seems wrong and strange. And also I do not like how Alex off-handily jokes about it, it is sending the wrong message. I know, I know, they are fantasy shows but some kids might think it's cool or normal to go to jail.

Hilary Duff in GLSEN PSA
I can't believe this came from Hilary Duff's mouth! In this new PSA from GLSEN (Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network), she appears in a store where two teenage girls say "that's so gay." I have been fighting this for years! I hate it when my nephew said 'that's so gay' when he meant it was something negative. Hilary told the girl "You wouldn't want someone to say 'that's so a girl in a ugly top.'" or something like that. Great PSA! Lots of people who say 'that's so gay' think I'm being 'too sensitive' and say it is not anti-gay. But come and think of it, people say 'I'm Straight' for 'I'm good' and Straight is a positive thing and Gay is a negative thing. Even on "The Office", Michael Scott proved how it has became confused when he says "Gay used to mean happy, then it meant something dumb and now it means Homosexual."

Seth Macfarlane on David Hasselhoff Roast
I think they picked a good host in Seth Macfarlane for the David Hasselhoff Roast, he knows how to be a jerk. I really wanted people to nail into how Seth is so smug and can't get over how bad "Dharma & Greg" was. Man, he won't stop talking about it, at least he didn't mention it on this Roast. Maybe he won't stop talking about it because he couldn't seal the deal with Jenna Elfman. But now Seth's new shtick is Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl." The other roasters only made fun of how Family Guy is like the Simpsons and South Park rip-off, they didn't even mention how his other cartoons are just like the first one. They probably don't even watch the show, that's how D-list Seth is. All Lisa Lampelli could say was that his head was as big as her twat. At least Jeffery Ross did rip on Seth for having the SAME damn voice for 100 characters. And Hulk Hogan had to upstage it by dressing in bright yellow and orange, he could have just dressed regular.

American Idol: 2 Judges?
So Simon Cowell (off to X-Factor) is out, so is Ellen Degeneres (too busy) and the other lady (Kara Dioguardi was fired). Also Jennifer Lopez is out, her demands reportedly was too much. So now it is Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler? Steven Tyler has reportedly been latched as the new judge. But since Elton John refused to be a judge and Jennifer Lopez wasn't even their third or fourth choice, I think they shouldn't have fired Kara, cause who are they are going to get as a third judge? But of course, like non-American Idol fans say, "Who the Hell Cares?"

Gay D.C. Episode skipped on D-List Marathon on Bravo
Today there was a marathon of "Kathy Griffin: My List on the D-List" on Bravo and the great episode where she fought for the repeal of 'don't ask don't tell' in Washington, D.C. Now that is D-list. It was the one emotional episode because she interviews military that are gay but not out, we don't see their faces but it shows she does care.
