Funny Show's funny crew list

Every year Daily Show, Stephen Colbert, Conan O' Brian, David Letterman, etc. always have funny footage for their crew list. This year was tops.

The Colbert Report - The crew punches Stephen in different shots. Stephen even punched Stephen.

The Daily Show - They had footage of Alberto Gonzales saying 'I don't recall' and then the person's name.

Conan O' Brian - He picks up jornaledos (horn-a-ledos, what Americans call "Day Laborers").

David Letterman - Bush falling.

Bill Mayer - Men having sex in the bathroom, we only see feet. Bill Mayer comes out with breath spray.

Congrats Katherine Heigl

When Katherine Heigl won for Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, they cut to her and when the directors of the Emmys saw she was about to say 'shit,' they cut to another image. Just be easy on her people, she has had a tough time in tinsel town and didn't expect to win. Her speech was very authentic. I don't think she is bitchy, she is real. I'm not going to cry on YouTube but she deserves the award and congrats to her.

Tina Fey looked stunning

People like to mention the women from Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives, Tina Fey looked spectacular and was really really funny. She and Julia Louis-Dreyfus got a good response from their sparing. Congrats to Jaime Pressly (Best Supporting Actress for Comedy) and Thomas Haden Church (Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Miniseries Or A Movie) for their wins! Pressly deserves it, her character had a great stride last year.

Terry O' Quinn deservingly won his first emmy

Congrats to him. He won for Best Supporting Actor for Drama.

Initial Reaction to Ryan Seacrest and the round set

I don't like this round set. It is not because it is strange and different, but it is just very awkward when Ryan Seacrest introduced all the people seated around him, from each show. The next person he had come up was Ray Romano, who apparently is doing standup (he actually there for Best Supporting actor for comedy). The round set has the guest have to walk around to face the different sides, it is annoying to the camera. Ray says, "I feel like I am disrespecting the people behind me." Ryan's jokes, as always, are not funny. Especially the one where he was suppose to sing and then said he wasn't. We are thankful you are not singing!

Update 10:57pm EST: Even James Spader said, "I've been to a lot of concerts and these are the worst seats I've ever had."

Family Guy Stewie and Brian sign opening of the Emmys

The best way to open any award show is to have Brian and Stewie sing. They redid the song about the FCC and made it about TV. It was funny and current. But there were some awkward faces to reactions.
